Devonport Guildhall Beer Festival is taking place this Saturday, so if you are a fan of Devon beers and ciders you are in for a treat!
Guildhall and Summerskills Brewery have joined forces to hold the Beer Festival event in Devonport’s Guildhall in Plymouth. With evening entertainment from popular Plymouth blues artists Vince Lee, Russel Sinclair and the Smokin’ Locos. The Guildhall’s own bakery, Column Bakehouse will provide an alternative to standard produced festival food by serving their popular homemade food and cakes.
Claire Burgess, Commercial Manager at Devonport Guildhall is pleased to be working with Summerskills on their first ever Beer Festival but also at the chance that this will be the first of many collaborative beer festivals and an annual event for the community, said: ”We have a lot of fantastic local beers and ciders lined up and some exciting evening entertainment from some very popular local acts.”
Summerskills Brewery are also happy with the collaboration with the Guildhall. David Lewis owner of the brewery said: “I am very happy to be working with them to bring a festival of local beer, cider and music to such an atmospheric venue.”
Daytime tickets, between the hours of 12pm and 6pm are just £5. Evening tickets will gain you entry from 6:30pm until midnight for only £10.
