Eating local food is an exciting experience for anyone when you go abroad. Staying at Seaside Sandy Hotel in Gran Canaria was an opportunity to taste great cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was a buffet of many different foods. Some you would recognise and others with a Spanish twist, a mixture of meats, vegetables, pasta and the best area, desert.
During my week stay here every night was a different theme from places around the world. From Mexican to Italian to Austrian to Swiss to local. Massive selection was available in meats from steak, rabbit, duck, chicken and beef. They were all cooked to order on show cooking stations with professional and friendly chefs.
The food was all freshly prepared, with none of it being cold. The mixtures of different food got your taste buds tingling. Especially when you came across something you have never tried before as it all looked appealing to the eye.
