With the last race of the Formula 1 2014 season this weekend at Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi, the battle is on between Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg for the Drivers’ World Championship.
Hamilton is currently leading with 334 points but there is still a chance that Rosberg can win the championship depending on where he and the British Driver, Lewis finish in Abu Dhabi. Double points are up for grabs this weekend for the top ten drivers, this meaning the winner of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will gain 50 points.
There is only currently 17 points between the teammates, if Nico wins in Abu Dhabi he will be on 367 points, Hamilton needs to finish 3rd or under for Rosberg to win the Driver’ World Championship. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix can be watched live throughout this weekend on BBC Two with practice 1 at 08:55 and practice 2 at 13:00 tomorrow, practice 3 09:55 and qualifying 12:10 on Saturday 22nd November and finally the race at 12:10 on Sunday 23rd November.
