Residents across Plymouth are being encouraged to attend an educational debate in the city tomorrow evening. The debate is being hosted by the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and Fotonow CIC, answering the question, ‘Are new educational initiative regenerating culture and industry?’
This debate comes back to the city after the successfulness and well attended education debate in 2013, once again the RSA is keen for residents to attend and take part. It will give people the chance to network and be part of the panel debate. Head of Regeneration for RIO, Ed Whitelaw and Chair of RSA in the South West will chair the debate.
‘We have almost 1,000 Fellows on the peninsula working in key positions across areas such as enterprise and manufacturing, public service and communities and creativity and learning,’ said Ed Whitelaw, ‘At the RSA we seek to encourage and support this work and this event is another example of that partnership working.’
Education debate is set to take place tomorrow evening, 6:30-8:30pm at St Saviour’s Church Hall in Plymouth’s Barbican and free to attend. For more information and to book in advance please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
