Friday 25 November 2016 is quiet a special date, along with it being Black Friday, my twenty-first birthday! Woop Happy Birthday to me, it is also officially a month til Christmas! Now, I know a lot of you are probably panicking yourself, or you’re one of those who are super prepared and are finished already.
I thought I would share with you my top tips that help me to shop for Christmas, so let’s begin;
Organise yourself | If you know me, you will know that I am very organised! I don’t do much without it already being planned. Writing down everyone’s gifts allows you to know what you exactly need. As well as writing down what cards and wrapping aids you need.
Don’t panic | The worse thing to do is panic, this will just make things ten times worse when you’re meant to enjoying yourself. Christmas is a magical time of the year, so give yourself plenty of time to shop.
Give yourself a break | Try giving yourself a whole day, rather than an evening. I know this may be a little hard, especially if you’re working during the week but you can chill a bit better. Maybe even stopping for a coffee or food, you need your energy.
Dress appropriately | I know it’s getting colder but walking around your City Centre, especially as big as mine in Plymouth, can make yourself very warm. So try and not wear too many layers, the worse thing to do is to become a sweaty mess.
Have fun | There’s nothing worse than not enjoying yourself and wishing it to be over already. Try shopping with a friend, so you’ve got someone to chat to and enjoy lunch with. Just make sure you don’t pick up their gift because that will ruin the surprise!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this! Let me know in the comments if you’re prepared and have already started or are waiting for just five minutes so you can enjoy yourself. Good luck and of course, have fun!
