Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl 2016 // Day 8 Foundation

Can you believe it that it’s already the 8 December! I can’t, the days just seem to be merging into one at the minute. Before I know it will be Christmas! Now for Day 8 of the Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl, it is Foundation Day but I won’t be reviewing a product. With having very sensitive skin, Foundation always seems to irritate my skin.

I used to wear it all the time in Secondary School, but it just wasn’t doing any good for my skin! So, I decided it was best to stop using it. I used to come up in red rashes and my acne got worse, which wasn’t pretty. I’ve always had to be careful with the type of products I used, with having sensitive skin. But I never thought Foundation could be one.

I know I could go out and maybe look for sensitive skin Foundation but I’m not really that bothered about it. It’s not something that I’ve felt like I’ve needed in my life. Currently I am suffering from bad acne, so I can see myself not benefiting from the Foundation. It will just make my skin worse off, I’m already struggling enough!

I know this is a strange post, I didn’t want to not post today, I wanted to explain the reasoning behind. For me I didn’t see the point in reviewing a Foundation if I couldn’t use it. I would just be making things up as I go along! Which is pointless, as it wouldn’t be a good and honest review that you deserve.

I will be back on track tomorrow though for Day 9 of the Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl 2016. Tomorrow I will be reviewing a Rose Hand Lotion that I came across in my local Tiger store. You can keep upto date with everyone’s posts using #beautybrawl16 on Twitter and Instagram.
