Is it just me or is 2017 going really quickly!? It’s now June which means another Favourites, let’s see what I’ve been loving during May. When I came home from Italy, the partner and myself saw Fast and Furious 8. I have loved this movie series since he introduced it to me. I love everything it stands for, family and the cars. I will admit, I cried a lot!!
I loved the direction they’ve taken this film in, it’s a lot more about family than the cars. I felt really sorry for Dominic, as he didn’t know what way to turn, in the end it worked out well for everyone. I love the return of Deckard and Owen Shaw, Jason Statham, like yees, I love him. All I’m going to say is you just have to watch this, so I’m not going to give away too much.
I had the amazing chance to go to Adrenalin, Plymouth’s #1 Urban Activity Park and jump around for a couple of hours. This was the first time I’ve visited this park so I really didn’t know what to expect, I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back. I don’t want to spoil too much because soon I will be chatting about this place on An Ocean Glimmer.

All I’ll say for now is that it was very tiring but amazing at the same time. Everything will be revealed in the post, I’m really excited to show you, for now, I’ll explain one moment. We spoke to one of the marshals and he was really helpful, I was intrigued by the Light Wall. Basically you had to press the buttons that light up, you could either jump or put your feet in the foot holds.
We were set a challenge, reach 200points and we would receive an Adrenalin Wristband! Cool right!? You’ll have to wait for the post to see if we achieved it! If you know me, you’ll know I love attending Car Shows, I have done for the past couple of years, since the partner started modifying he’s Rover 25! It’s nice now to go with my own car, I know it’s not exactly modded but I love having it on show.
We attended South West Autosport in May down at Newton Abbott Racecourse. I love this show, as it always had a massive turnout and it’s always lovely to see my MG Rover family. The one downside, the early morning drive ughh, waking up early because we have to be there, on our stand before the show is open to the public. It is definitely worth it though! I can not wait for our next meet.
The biggest thing to happen this month, I’ve finished my three-year Journalism degree! It’s crazy how quick these past three-years have gone, feels like yesterday I started this degree at the University of St Mark & St John, now I’ve finished and I’ve got to look for an adult job! As I said on Wednesday, I have got something lined up, hopefully if I pass the next couple of stages.
I can’t wait to visit their office and meet everyone. I am really positive about this and I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed! One of my main modules was to create a 32-page magazine, now this is where things turned rocky for myself and I’m not 100% proud of it but I’m going to move pass this and look to the future! It’s still something I can put on my portfolio and say I’ve done.
Look out for some extended posts on what I’ve spoken about in this post! I want to try and update you as much as possible, as I know I haven’t been around lot recently, but this will change. I’m really excited to chat to you about it.
Aw love your blog and favourites, the year is racing by haha! Congratulations on getting your degree!! 😀 xx
