Nail Polish Collection

I am no means a girly girl, I am not one to be wearing makeup and I do not have a fashion sense! But when it comes to my nails, I absolutely adore them! For the past couple of months, I’ve been getting my nails professionally done because why not, my nails are my life and when I break one, well a little part of me breaks along with it.

Through my love of my nails, comes my Nail Polish Collection, it is no means done yet either! I thought I would show you the variety of polishes I have and you may just seem a theme running throughout, let me know in the comments if you do. I am still on the look out for polishes and if I do see pretty colours, I will pick them up! Especially if they are on offer in Superdrug.

Let’s start with my Avon collection of polishes, now after becoming an Avon Representative, I started an impressive Avon collection as I was gifted various nail polishes that I actually liked. I love Avon polishes as for the money, they are reasonably good, I hate those that you feel like you’re never going to get a good finish. I feel that a good base and top coat also help with this.

Avon has different collections of nail polishes, first up is Gel Finish.

Moving on from Avon nail polishes, I also have a small range from Barry M, I love these colours but I have yet to try them! I picked them up thinking how amazing they were, but I have failed to use them, I think I need to pick up some corresponding colours that work well with them because I’m not one for all my nails being fancy. I love the thought behind these and they look so magical, I just hope they look nice on my nails.

The next brand of nail polishes I have is Rimmel London, Rimmel is bar far my favourite brand for nail polishes, the amount of colour choices they have is perfect! I swear I am always picking something up from them and the quality is perfect, I know exactly how much I have to apply to have a good cover as well as having the base and top coat that leaves them lasting a good time.

My favourite collection from Rimmel is Super Gel, these last longer than some of their other collections, especially if you use the Super Gel Top Coat. This allows your nails to be Salon-Style as you are using the patented two-step gel colour system, the finish is perfect, doesn’t last as long as Shellac but for home nails, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Especially as a UV lamp is not needed.

I definitely need to pick up some more nail polishes! I am always on the lookout for good brands, I’ve had ones before that are just horrible, recommend your favourites down below in the comments! I also need to figure out how best to store them, especially when I start picking more up. I would love to be able to store them on my desk somewhere.

I hope you have liked this post! If you would like to see more posts like this then please let me know. Hopefully, soon my nail polish collection will double, I’ll definitely show you it again.

  1. I actually wear the Avon Naked Truth nail polish, I love it and Avon polishes are very good mine last me about 5-6 days before a chip and I’m a mum of two so I love it. I like the look of the Rimmel London super gel nail polish, I’ve never brought any of those before but may have to invest as I to love getting my nails done!

    1. You speak my music, I adore getting my nails done. The Avon polishes are really good! If yours last 5-6 days with kids, that’s perfect! You should definitely have a look at the Rimmel ones, some of the colours are to die for!

  3. I’m obsessed with the Rimmel Gel line, they look so stunning! I really wanna try those Aquarium polishes, I’ve tried the Molten Metal ones which look similar but I need that pink shade x

    1. Yes of course! These are all reasonable cheap, I love my nails but not that much to spend £10 on a bottle! I’ve always been lucky and had nails to die for! I’ve only ever had fake nails once, if I look after them I can grow them quite long

  4. I wish I could paint my own nails, I’m just so useless at anything like this, sad times haha! I love the idea of the speed dry nail varnish, if I ever get mine done at the nail salon I’m always terrified for the first hour afterwards that I’ll smudge them and make a mess haha! Barry M always has such cute shades as well, my sister is obsessed with their glittery topcoats!

    1. I am exactly the same! You walk around thinking they are still wet, then I get told, it’s fine, you can act normal! After a week or so I don’t really care. Barry M are pretty cool for nail polishes, I would love to try their glittery topcoats!

  5. Love a good collection of nail varnishes but I never actually put nail varnish on because are so annoying and just break! Loving the Barry M nail varnish, I used to be obsessed with them a few years back xx
