Watermelon Collection from Faith in Nature

I am always on the lookout for new beauty products so when Faith in Nature contacted me and asked if I wanted to review some of their products, I jumped at the chance! Let me tell you a little bit about the company, Faith in Nature began over 40 years ago in Scotland when founder Rivka Rose moved from New York City. Her vision was to create an affordable beauty and skin care range for everyone to use from natural, vegetable sources which were animal-cruelty free and environmentally friendly.

Faith in Nature is now an award-winning brand that produces over 200 products including hair care, skin care, baby care and natural home care. It was a very tricky decision to chose the products I wanted to try. There’s a big range of different fragrances, including Aloe Vera, Chocolate, Coconut, Lavender, Pomegranate and the one I chose Watermelon! You can decide to either have a 400ml or 740ml in selected fragrances which is perfect if you adore the scent, it will last you that little bit longer.

I received Watermelon Shampoo and Conditioner as well as the Watermelon Shower Gel & Bath Foam. I am always careful on what products I use on my hair, luckily enough I don’t suffer from dandruff but sometimes it doesn’t last as long as it should with certain shampoos. That’s why I use the Beauty-Full Volume collection from TRESemme. It does wonders for my hair, especially with it being so long so I need something that works and keeps it in good shape.

Like I’ve said in previous posts, along with carrying about my nails, my hair is second on my list. I can tell you now, I don’t think I’m going back to TRESemme. Both the Shampoo and Conditioner smell amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever smelt a Shampoo like this, it’s not too strong smelling, the Watermelon fragrance hits you so well. I forgot how much I loved Watermelon. The consistency is perfect, I sometimes find it too thick and you can’t rub it in your hair very well.

But with this Shampoo, you don’t have to use too much to cover all your hair, believe me when I say I have a lot of hair! The Conditioner is very similar, the colour is the only difference, I don’t tend to use Conditioner as it’s always very difficult to actually get it out the bottle! But this Conditioner is very different, it is very easy to get it out of the bottle, which is brilliant, the consistency is perfect and not too thin that it’s like Shampoo. I was unsure if I would enjoy this combination but it’s been perfect for my hair.

It’s lasted exactly the same time as if I was using TRESemme, which is a massive bonus for this Shampoo and Conditioner because I did think I would have to wash my hair more times in a week because it wasn’t lasting. My hair is feeling exactly the same, it is still leaving my hair volumized and very fluffy. This Shampoo and Conditioner is a massive thumb up from me, I love how it’s Vegan-friendly meaning anyone can use it as well as it being a little bit more kinder to your skin.

I was also gifted the Watermelon Shower Gel & Bath Foam, I love how it’s suitable for either the shower or bath. So if you have both facilities, you can use the product if you fancy a bath or shower, which means if you are feeling lazy you can grab a shower or if you want to feel relaxed, can grab a bath and have Watermelon bubbles. The consistency of the shower gel is quite thin, I feel like it’s thinner than the Shampoo. Which means you’ve gotta be a bit careful when you use it, as you can push out too much!

I did exactly this the first time I used it, normally I’m used to having to push quite hard to get it out, not this time. The Shower Gel smells exactly the same as the Shampoo and Conditioner, I love the consistency of smells between the different products. It just proves that the same ingredients are packed inside each of the products, which is just brilliant as it proves further more just how organic they are as a company. Faith in Nature lists the Shower Gel as ready to nourish and revitalise, which I completely agree with!

Everything that I expect to achieve with a Shower Gel is filled inside this bottle, I suffer from sensitive skin, which means I have to be very careful with what products I use on my skin because it could lead to irritation. So far I’ve had no problems with this Shower Gel so far of course, probably helped by the fact that it’s all natural, as well as being packed with skin-loving Vitamin E and Organic Glycerine. It leaves your skin feeling very smooth, rather than the roughness I sometimes get with other Shower Gels.

Now the prices might seem a little expensive compared with TRESemme, a brand that is higher than other Shampoo ranges, with it being £5.50 for a 400ml bottle. Where as you can grab TRESemme for £4.99, a 500ml bottle, at the moment Superdrug are currently doing Buy One Get One Free… What a bargain, especially if you need both Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m not sure yet if this will last me longer than TRESemme because I don’t need to use as much? But I feel like it’s better quality than TRESemme and I’m definitely thinking to make the swap and not return to TRESemme.

Both the Shampoo and Conditioner are £5.50 for a 400ml bottle and I feel the way that I’m not using so much each time, fingers crossed this will last me a good amount of time, like the TRESemme bottles. The Shower Gel and Bath Foam is £5.60 for a 400ml bottle which is perfect, should last me a little while as you don’t have to use that much to get the effects. I’m really excited to finish off these three products to then try a different range from Faith in Nature. I’m actually thinking about having a look at their skin care ranges, to see if any of those will help with my current acne problem!

If you’ve loved this post and want to try some Faith in Nature products yourself, definitely head over to their website. Hopefully, you won’t be disappointed by their ranges, let me know in the comments if you’ve ever tried Faith in Nature. What is your favourite? I would love to know.

    1. I have to use TRESemme because it’s the only shampoo/conditioner that leaves my hair feeling perfect for a long time. You should definitely give it a go! The packaging is gorgeous isn’t it!
