Do you find it hard to find gifts for your partner? Or even your Dad? Brother? Men say that us women are hard to buy for because we ‘never know what we want’ but I reckon men are just as hard to shop for! With Christmas just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start your shopping to find those unique gifts to give to your loved ones. We are on a search to buy them a gift like no other before, this is where Uncommon Goods come in.
Who are Uncommon Goods?
Well, when I came across their site, they kind of reminded me of Not On The High Street here in the United Kingdom. Uncommon Goods are a privately-owned retailer that endeavours to feature unique jewellery, designer decor, tabletop items and handcrafted gifts. Their mission? To support and provide a platform for artists and designers, with half of what they sell is made by hand, as well as most of their products are made in the United States.
Around one-third of their entire collection incorporate recycled and/or upcycled materials. Uncommon Goods are even an award winning company, as they’ve been awarded outstanding for their customer service every year since 2007. Their highest achievement was in 2015 when they achieved the BizRate Platinum Circle of Excellence award. You will be on their website for hours just trying to find that perfect gift for your loved ones.
While browsing through their Gift Collection, I fell in love with a range of products! Including ones that I felt were very fitting for a lot of my loved ones, I think I know what I’m picking them up this year for Christmas. As well as some products that I would love to receive myself, I think I might have to give my loved ones a list from Uncommon Goods! I thought I would share with you some of my favourite items that I came across on their Gift Collection.
Do you have a loved one who collects everything when they travel? Tickets from transportation, wristbands from music concerts, tickets from your favourite theatre performance? Rather than these getting lost in your draws or damaged, why not grab the Ticket Stub Diary. A book that comes with clear sleeves that fit a variety of ticket sizes as well as space in the margin to write down your memories from the event. With the acid-free pages, this book will preserve your memories to show your grandkids all those things you did in your youth.
Are you fed up of your partner saying ‘I don’t know’ ‘up to you’ when you ask what they want to do for Date Night? Well, why not give the Date Night Bucket List a try! This is a great gift that will leave yourself never asking ‘what should we do tonight?’ This idea is perfect for couples to try something new rather than your typical ‘let’s go to the movies’ how about something romantic like pack blankets and pillows and go stargazing someplace secluded to something intellectual like attend a lecture at a local museum or university.
Bedside Essentials Pocket £15.07
Nowadays we are taking all sorts of things to our beds, our phones, our glasses for when we read a book, maybe even a notebook to jot late at night ideas. Yes you have a bedside cabinet but what happens if there’s no room because of your lamp and alarm clock, well this is where the Bedside Essentials Pocket comes in. No more losing your items, that is as long as you put them all inside here! This is definitely something for the geek in your life, they can store their phone and iPad inside this handy pocket. Check out some other ideas for your geeky partner.
Build Your Own Robot Kit £11.27
Some people just never grow up right? Build Your Own Robot Kit makes this statement truer. These adorable robots are the perfect present for that builder in your family, allowing their creativity to run wild. You can build these robots by following the instructors or figuring it out for yourself, with the sets also being designed to be used as springboards for your own homemade creations, what type of robot will you create!? This is definitely the present for your big kid in your life, this is definitely something they wished to have when they were a child. Oh, how times have changed.
If I was to talk about all the gifts on Uncommon Goods, I would have content for the rest of the year! There are so many gifts on the website, I need to do more browsing to see what types of gifts I can pick up this year for Christmas. If your struggling for that special man in your life, I would definitely recommend heading over here, do it now so you can spend forever just looking through all. Why stop at Christmas? Uncommon Goods have gifts for all occasions, like Weddings, Baby Showers, Anniversaries and even Graduation! If you are on the search for a unique gift, Uncommon Goods might just have it.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this post! It’s crazy how soon Christmas is now and I hope I have given you some ideas for the man in your life. Why don’t you check out Uncommon Goods and let me know your favourite gift!
