It’s one of those stereotypical things, you become a blogger, you receive products from brands in return for an honest review on your blog, but in reality, it’s not that easy. You can either approach brands yourself, find opportunities on Twitter or join programs like Inzpire.me. I recently signed up to Inzpire.me after coming across the program on Twitter as I’ve reached a point with my blog where I feel like I can sell myself to brands and be successful.
Today I wanted to introduce you to Inzpire.me and how it can help you, as an influencer, collaborate with brands.
What is Inzpire.me?
“Inzpire.me is a marketplace platform where brands and influencers can connect across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Website blogs and Instagram.” – Leslie Ho of Inzpire.me.
Inzpire.me was founded in March 2016 and is based in Norway. Their mission, to humanize advertising by making it easier for brands to discover and connect with influencers to share inspiring stories. They pride themselves on having all the necessary features to utilize influencer marketing. They enable influencers and brands from all over the globe to collaborate in nine different channels.
The website enables bloggers to set up their own profile and advertise themselves. When you sign up, you are asked questions about your blog, like the content you write about and your following, from here Inzpire.me will do the rest! You are able to connect with brands and businesses that sell the type of products you would review. By adding your social media accounts, brands can see how much of a following you have, meaning how many people would likely see your reviews.
I only set up my Inzpire.me account recently, so I haven’t had brands approached me yet for collaborations. These things do take time, so I am hoping the improvements I make over the following weeks on An Ocean Glimmer, will spark an interest with brands. I love this idea and I can see it really working for both influencers and brands to be able to connect. Everything is in one place and hopefully, all the brands are accredible so you know you can trust them.
If you believe this is something for you, I would definitely recommend heading over to Inzpire.me and signing up to start finding brands to collaborate. There is nothing to lose and you might gain a lot just from trying. Make sure you link your all social media profiles for the brands to understand your full following, as well as including everything on your profile.
