Monsoon Rose Gold Review

At the moment, I am really enjoying finding new fragrances, I’ve come across a lot of different ones as you’ll know from my reviews of Firedance and Love Lily. Today I’m going to share with you my thoughts on the new fragrance from Monsoon, Rose Gold. This is the first time I’ve tried a Monsoon fragrance, so I am very excited, I love the strong presence of Rose Gold. From the name to outer packaging and the bottle, it is covered in Rose Gold, which I absolutely adore! And not just because I am a blogger.

From the first time, my eyes were laid on this fragrance, I was in love! It’s such a luxurious fragrance with it being housed in a premium heavyweight box, it’s soo nice. The packaging, bottle and the fragrance itself works hand in hand to create a fragrance that screams luxury. I’ve even kept the box to store it in just because I can’t think to part with it. For this fragrance, Monsoon worked with Fragrance & Beauty Creations and renowned perfumer Christian Provenzano to create a signature fragrance.

Now let’s get onto the scent! Top notes of sparkling Lemon, soft fruit and ozonic scents are layered with velvety Rose, and underpinned with base notes of Eastern Woods, Vanilla, Mosses, Musk and balsamic Amber, doesn’t it just sound divine! I’m normally not a fan of Lemon, but with the other ingredients, it’s actually not that bad. Monsoon has created a great combination here and Rose Gold is definitely in my top five of fragrances. They’ve really done a good job on this fragrance, not just the scent but also the packaging and bottle.

Just like Love Lily created by sister company Accessorize, it is heavily a Spring/Summer fragrance, with how floral it smells. Meaning now is probably the wrong time to get your hands on Rose Gold as we are heading into Autumn and Winter. This might actually be a plus for you! I know I’m still going to be wearing it over the colder months, adding a new touch to myself. I definitely think this is a good fragrance for daytime wear as well as nighttime, it adds such a great aroma around you, the partner has even given me some compliments with this perfume!

For the 30ml bottle in Monsoon it’s £24 which I feel is reasonable for how detailed the packaging is as well as the quality of the perfume. There is also a 100ml bottle for only £35 which is a great purchase! At the moment, only the 100ml is in stock online, I’m not sure if you can get it in store though but I would definitely recommend if you are going past your local Monsoon to pop in. I definitely think it is definitely worth grabbing the 100ml bottle rather than 30ml.

I hope you have enjoyed this post! Let me know what your thoughts are on Rose Gold. I know it’s not currently the time for this type of fragrance but I have still been loving it. Are you going to try and get your hands on Rose Gold?

  1. I didn’t know they did perfume! But this sounds lovely, and I never change up my perfume depending on season so I will give this a sniff next time I’m near a Monsoon x

  2. I agree with you about how luxurious the Monsoon packaging is! Wow! If I’d just seen the bottle without a label, I’d have assumed that it was by a designer brand! Anything lemon-y is a winner in my book, I adore fresh scents! When I’m next in a Monsoon store I’ll definitely be spritzing this, it would make a lovely Christmas gift too!

    1. I’m glad you like the sound of it! You should definitely try it, i’m sure they won’t mind. Most definitely, I would love to receive a perfume like this! Fresh scents are always really nice

  3. This sounds incredible! I love the bottle as well. Personally I think that this would be really nice in AW as well. It’s nice to have something more refreshing from time to time rather than the typical warm scents in my opinion :)x
