For today’s post, I am going to be sharing with you my Goals for December, as well as recapping on the Goals I set for November. I really hope you are liking these posts as I’m really enjoying writing them for you each month, they definitely help me to keep up to date with what is going on.
It’s definitely a good thing to look back at these each month as well, to know where you’re going right and wrong. First of all, let’s have a look at my November Goals.
I’m pleased to say, I have been able to plan and schedule some of my Blogmas posts! Which is great as writing seven posts in one weekend is definitely a miracle. This is why I’ve been scheduling them beforehand, currently, I am a week ahead. If you’ve been following An Ocean Glimmer for a while, you’ll know I always include reading.
This month, I only managed one book and that was Northern Lights from Philip Pullman, I read this book for this month’s Blogger Book Nook prompt, Young Adult. With receiving my first paycheck from my first full-time job, I was able to save 1k! Which means which just that little bit closer to our mortgage goal.
I’m definitely finding it really hard, especially with my Birthday and Christmas just around the corner, so most of my money has gone onto food and presents. I really hope January changes this and we can save a lot more, meaning we can move out a lot quicker. Unfortunately, I haven’t managed to explore Milton Keynes.
Which has definitely been a bad thing as I really wanted to just wander around, yes I met Tom Fletcher but I was pushed for time and didn’t have the opportunity. I doubt I will be going into Milton Keynes anytime soon though, as I’ve heard it gets very busy around Christmas! Hopefully, in the New Year, I can make some time to visit.
Let’s get to my December Goals!
My first goal for December would be to write 25 blog posts in the run-up to Christmas, after last year I know I can do it. But with a full-time job, it is definitely going to be harder. I’ve got my content planned out, most of them are scheduled, I really think I can do this! I think I might need some luck though.
With posting every day, I really believe I can reach 9k views on An Ocean Glimmer, I’ve just tipped over 8.5k views in November. It would be lovely to reach 9k, maybe I’ll be really close to my main goal of 10k for 2017. I really appreciate all the support from you all, it truly does mean a lot to me.
I feel like I’ve been stuck on 2.5k followers on Twitter for forever! I’m pleased to say I’ve surpassed 2.5k followers now and the goal is now set for 3k. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed! If you want to follow me on Twitter to keep up to date with everything, then you can do that here!
I know it’s Christmas and the holiday season, but I would love to save another 1k this month, hopefully, I’ll receive some wages from my Sports Direct time so I’ll put that aside. I’ll also put away all the money I receive for both my Birthday and Christmas. I know I am busy with Blogmas but I would love to plan some content for January.
I’m not sure at the moment but I am thinking about having a little break after Christmas, maybe start the second week of January. Please let me know what you think about this in the comments, I think I just need to have some me time. Especially after completing Blogmas! The next couple of weeks are going to be pretty stressful.
I hope you have enjoyed this post! I would love to know what you’re most looking forward to this month, please let me know in the comments!

I hope you achieve all your goals this month! I feel like Twitter is so hard to grow at the moment, I can’t seem to get past 1.4K! If you feel like you want to take a break after Christmas, you should. I think I will as well, I mean if I’m able to schedule some posts then I will but otherwise it’ll quiet on the blog 😊x
