Blogmas Day 10 // Winter Hot Chocolate Favourites

With nights getting colder and darker, I love sitting down with a hot chocolate and a movie cuddled up with the partner. I swear I drink more hot chocolate during the colder months, it’s just the perfect drink! I hardly drink hot chocolate throughout the year until winter comes around, it’s just a thing for me.

It’s definitely the perfect time on this cold, winters night to sit down with a hot chocolate and watch your favourite Christmas movie. I know that’s what I’m doing! I thought I would share with you some of my hot chocolate favourites. There’s so many out there to chose from, but there’s a few I keep going back to each time.

Luckily for me, a couple of my favourites were on offer so I picked them up so I could enjoy them this winter. Here I’ve got a couple of different flavours and brands, I always like to swap and change, so I have different ones in the house so I can do this. My current favourite is White Chocolate from Options.

Options is by far my favourite hot chocolate brand! They have soo many different flavours and I can always get the hot chocolate just right. Sometimes I’m left with powder at the bottom that hasn’t mixed so the end tastes horrible! But not with Options, I am able to get it just right.

 

My next favourite flavour is their Chocolate Orange, I actually don’t like oranges but when it’s mixed with chocolate, it’s perfect! I couldn’t have that much of this at one time and I can’t have it every night, but once in a while, it’s nice to mix it up. It’s got such a good taste to it and smells amazing, just a very small hint of orange.

You can’t beat a bit of original though, that’s why I love Belgian Chocolate from Options. It’s definitely not as amazing as their flavoured hot chocolates but it will do, it’s definitely one of the better original hot chocolates. It’s actually got some flavour to it and if you make it right, it can be quite thick and lovely.

I know, I know, all these have been from Options! But I’ve got one that isn’t Options! My last favourite hot chocolate is Galaxy, I adore Galaxy and having a hot chocolate is perfect! It’s like I’ve dropped my Galaxy bar into a mug of hot water. It’s soo dreamy and when you do it right, it’s perfect!

Thinking about all these hot chocolates has made me want to boil the kettle and have a lovely White Chocolate! Let me know in the comments your favourite hot chocolate!
