With the nights getting colder and darker, it feels nice to cosy up on the sofa and watch a movie. I am definitely a massive fan of these nights, it’s nice to wind down and just relax, there’s variety of different ways you can do this! I don’t know about you but Winter just screams nights in. You don’t want to go outside because it’s already pitch black and it’s freezing cold. It’s definitely a must during these colder nights.
I thought I would share with you how I typically spend my Winter night in, what screams comfort to me!
The perfect start to a night in is changing into your pyjamas, of course, you have to be comfortable! At the moment I am loving my Christmas pyjamas I picked up from Tesco, they’ve got adorable polar bears on them and they’re super comfy. Next, it’s cuddling up in my duvet and putting something on Netflix, at the moment I am loving Riverdale! But unfortunately, I am unable to binge watch Riverdale as I’m all caught up.
When I fancy a binge-watching session, ShadowHunters: The Mortal Instruments is on top at the moment because I’ve really been addicted to this series! If you’re addicted to Netflix and are on the search for some new series, I would definitely recommend reading my Favourite Netflix Series, yesterday’s Blogmas post. Of course, no night in is complete without some food!
A good night in is complete with some Chinese, that just screams comfort and I adore choosing different dishes each time. Chinese is definitely my favourite takeaway, I also love having snacks for a night in, especially if you’re having yourself a movie marathon. What about some Doritos? Or chocolate? I always love trying some new, so it’s perfect going into Tesco and just picking up whatever is on offer.
I sometimes even like a candle to be flickering in the room, this just makes an evening, especially when it’s a nice smelling candle. I go through phases of what candles I like, at the moment it is definitely my range of Yankee Candle I have! Through Yasmine having their advent candle, I’ve really been enjoying them. I’ve definitely collected a fair few over the past couple of months.
If you want to check out my candle collection, you can here! Now, I don’t know about you but a mug of warm Hot Chocolate just seems to make an evening. It’s perfect and definitely makes you very relaxed. At the moment I am loving White Chocolate from Options, so you’ll definitely see me with a mug of that. I think that’s officially everything that makes a night in perfect for me.
I hope you have enjoyed this post! I would love to know in the comments your favourite thing for a night in. What makes a night in, cosy and special for you?

My winter night in is very similar to yours! I love Netflix although I usually go for a movie when I want to relax. Comfy PJs are definitely essential 🙂 x

Oooh white chocolate options sound delicious! A cosy night in for me would be having a relaxing bath then pampering myself with face masks and all the creams whilst watching, of course, a Christmas film right now! I also agree with the candle thing, candles make anything more relaxing x

Oooh I haven’t had a night in with a Chinese in so long! Chicken chowmein is my favourite hehe. Me and my other half had a night in watching xmas films and Dominos Pizza last night and it was perfect! We ditched the hot chocolate as we were too full after all the food but we did have a nice big snuggly blanket and a couple of candles lit 🙂

Sign me up for a night in snuggled up with Netflix and an Options hot choc please! This is what wintry weather is best for! My Mum treated me to a heated throw cover for Christmas (similar to an electric blanket but better for cuddling up in) which will be making my nights in very cosy for a long time to come! Christmas pyjamas are an essential for this time of year, I haven’t checked out Tesco’s clothing range for ages so I must pop in and look at their pyjamas! My current fave sleepwear is a Primark onesie that I’ve had for YEARS, it’s Kermit the frog hehe and I love it!
