Bomb Cosmetics Palm Springs

I’ve got a little special post for you today, you know how I’ve only just started using LUSH bath bombs, I know it’s only taken me like forever! But now I’ve come across another bath bomb company, Bomb Cosmetics. I’ve heard a lot about this company, a lot of good things, so I was really excited to try their products. LUSH has some amazing products, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like they are a little expensive.

So I’ve been looking for an alternative that is a reasonable price, as well as amazing quality, something similar to LUSH. If you’ve been following An Ocean Glimmer for a little while, you’ll know that I tried the Wilko own bath bombs, I spoke about them in my August Favourites. But they weren’t actually very exciting, they just turned the water a different colour.

I’ve finally been able to get my hands on my first order, I’ve been meaning to order something since first coming across Bomb Cosmetics. Before getting into my review of the Palm Springs Gift Pack, who are Bomb Cosmetics?

Bomb Cosmetics pride themselves on making products that not only smell and feel wonderful on your skin but also look beautiful too and are made completely by hand. They are 100% handmade, everything in the process is made by hand meaning each product is unique. They even hand draw the designs on the gift wrap and the decorations. None of their finished products or ingredients are tested on animals and they are vegan-friendly.

Shall we get started with the review?

All That Glitters Bath Blaster – There’s soo much glitter! Just be warned that this glitter gets everywhere and will stay on your person for a little while. I swear even with cleaning the bath the glitter just stayed there. It turns the water a lovely pink colour and leaves the bathroom smelling amazing.

This was the first bath product I tried from Bomb Cosmetics and I was definitely happy with it. This one took a little longer than LUSH bath bombs to disappear, so I would definitely recommend putting it in way before you’re ready to get in the bath. The white layer on top created a moisturising layer on top

Flutter By Butterfly Bath Blaster – I loved this one as you’re captured by the smell of apple and cherries, leaving the bathroom smelling amazing! I wasn’t 100% sure on the colour that it turned the water though, it was a pastel green which Yasmine commented that I might turn green like Shrek!

Thankfully I didn’t, it made for an interesting bath though. I love the feature of the butter on top, this made it similar to the All That Glitters Bath Blaster, it didn’t add a white layer to the bath, instead left my skin feeling super soft. As always a bath should be relaxing and Flutter By Butterfly did exactly that!

Unfortunately, just be careful as the leaf and butterfly might be left in the bathtub, these didn’t dissolve in the water. I’m not sure if this was meant to have happened?

Apple & Raspberry Bath Mallow – This is adorable right! It’s pretty much a small version of their Bath Blasters, I’ve never tried a Bath Mallow before so wasn’t sure what I should expect, but thankfully it was good things! It’s soo small but still releases the goodness that Bath Blasters hold.

The scent was amazing, once it hit the water and started fizzing, you can smell the Apple and Raspberry, two of my favourite scents. Just like Flutter By Butterfly, it does leave the water a pale green colour. I suppose what do you expect with the colour of the Bath Mallow, I need to get my hands on more of these.

Superfruiter Bath Buttercup – How adorable is this little Bath Buttercup!? Like it just looks good enough to eat, as well as it looking so much like a little cupcake. Once this little bad boy touches the water, it releases Cocoa Butter into the water to moisturise your skin. There are so many different scents within this little Buttercup.

When they are released, it creates such a perfect scent, one that you wish lingers for hours but unfortunately only lasts a little while. Still, it’s definitely worth it for that very short time, this definitely makes me happy and excited for Spring/Summer. It’s just around the corner now!

Summer Cherry Soap – One thing within this pack that doesn’t disappear instantly is the Summer Cherry Soap, which smells amazing! While leaving your skin feeling soft and moisturized, I love this and you definitely don’t have to use much for it to take effect. Allowing you to continue using this for that little bit longer.

I’ve heard good things about these soaps, they are definitely something different. I normally don’t use soaps as they don’t agree with my skin but thankfully this one does! I love how it’s see through, it’s unusual and it’s an odd shape. It reminds me of the blocks you see in LUSH.

I am really enjoying these products at the moment, Bomb Cosmetics is definitely turning into a brand I just have to get my hands on. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these in the future, I am definitely addicted and makes me look forward to a bath on the weekend. I love how they also do seasonal products, exactly like LUSH, they have some amazing spring bath products at the moment

I hope you have enjoyed this post! Have you tried anything from Bomb Cosmetics? What’s your favourite?

  1. Bomb Cosmetics have been my favourite bath brand for so long now! Their products are such amazing quality, I see them as sort of a cheaper and more mature version of Lush as they don’t have the extravagant colours but they hold so much more moisture and skin goodness in them. I couldn’t love their products more. My favourite bath blaster would have to be “Sweetie Pie” it’s AMAZING!
