Monthly Goals // March 2018

Can you believe that it’s already March! Like where is this year going, I’m having such a good year so far and I feel it’s only going to get better. Today is the day that I am going to be looking back at the Goals I set for February as well as setting myself some new ones for March. February has definitely been a good month, not only for my Goals but life in general, there’s been a lot going on.

I’m really busy at the moment with visiting family, taking adventures and just enjoying life if you want to know more about what I have been up to in February, you should definitely check out my Favourites! March is definitely going to be no different, I love reflecting on my goals as it definitely gives me the motivation I require as well as making sure I am actually achieving what I want to.

Before I set myself some new Goals for March, let’s reflect on my February Goals!

Read 2 Books – Achieved! I continued my strong start of reading into February, goes hand in hand with the Book Blog Tours I have been on during February. I have read Graveminder by Melissa Marr and The Eden Paradox by Barry Kirwan, two of my favourite books that I’ve read recently!

Meet Samantha – Achieved! You can actually read all about this in my February Favourites. After speaking for what has felt forever online, I’m happy to have met Samantha this month, we had a lovely time in Birmingham together. My fingers are crossed that I can meet her again soon, maybe even closer to home next time.

Continue to be Ahead – Achieved! I am actually currently writing this in February and I’ve got completed posts until the end of March. With having a full-time job, it’s been super helpful being ahead, it means I don’t actually have to worry so much about blogging on the weekend. Now I just have to continue this each month.

Visit Milton Keynes – Unfortauntely, I was unable to visit Milton Keynes this month! I’ve been super busy and the weeks have gone past so quickly that I just didn’t have the opportunity. I did spend the evening in Las Iguanas with everyone at work, does that count? I know Yasmine has been wanting to go back to IKEA, so maybe in March.

Let’s get to my March Goals!

Read 2 Books – I am doing well with my Goodreads 2018 Reading Challenge that I want to continue ahead just in case I have a bad month. I have currently read 5 books and my target is 15, according to Goodreads I am 3 books ahead! I would love to be able to read a total of 2 books this month, I believe I can do this. You can follow my Reading Challenge here.

Walk 4,000 steps – This goal will go hand in hand with me wanting to become a little bit healthier in 2018. I love walking, I would rather walk for half an hour than go to the gym. It’s free and you get to explore the area around you! I would love to be able to walk 4,000 steps this month, with my little lunch times walks at work, I feel I can achieve this no problem.

Reach 650 Followers on Instagram – I’m doing really well on Instagram at the moment, during March I would like to concentrate more on Instagram and my following than Twitter. I put a lot of work into where I am on Twitter and would love to replicate this on Instagram, meaning this month I would like to reach 650 followers.

If you’re not already following me, what are you waiting for!?
You can follow me here.

Up my Instagram Game – I can be a little quiet on Instagram, if I want to achieve a bigger following, I need to up my Instagram game! At the moment, I don’t know how exactly I’m going to do this, I’m sure I’ll figure it out. I am though, going to challenge myself in uploading one image each day! Let’s see how it goes.

I hope you have enjoyed this post! What is the one thing you would love to achieve this month? Let me know in the comment!

  1. I really need to start reading more books, i’ve recently gotten into Gossip Girl though so all of my free time goes on watching that! Walking is such a brilliant way to stay fit and healthy too and I find I get most of my inspiration and creative ideas while I’m out walking as I get real time to just think to myself! As for Instagram, it’s so bloody hard to grow isn’t it, I’m hoping someday soon it gets a bit easier for us bloggers!

    1. Aww, it’s hard to find the time most definitely. Once something sticks, everything goes into that haha, I’ve never really been interested in Gossip Girls. Yes, it is! I love just wondering and you can find some interesting locations. I know… It’s horrible, I would love for it to get better and easier for us.

  2. I hear you on how quickly this year is going, January seemed to last forever but February just zipped by in no time! Huge well done on achieving the vast majority of your goals for last month, you get a round of applause from me for being so far ahead with everything, I need to get my bum in gear and start planning some future blog posts myself! It sounds like you’re putting plenty of effort in to growing your Instagram and I’m sure your hard work will pay off by smashing your follower goal in March!

  3. I wanted to start reading more books as well! I haven’t been as good as you at that though, I really need to get back into the swing of reading. It can be so good for the mind and it’s so relaxing. Well done for smashing most of your goals in February and good luck for March!

  4. I hope you’ve reached all your goals this month lovely! I’ve read 5 books this year as well and my goal is 30 so I’m a bit behind actually… I’m definitely going to catch up in summer as that’s when I usually read the most anyway 🙂 x

    1. Yes, completely! Five books is still really good. I’m sure if you’re travelling a lot you’ll soon catch up. I wish you the best of luck with 30 though! I’m sure you’ll smash it.
