March Favourites

Well here we are, another month over, now it starts becoming fun with Spring finally here, I can’t wait for it to start warming up. I’ve had a great March, there’s been a lot going on and I’m glad to finally be doing things outside of work. Least with the weather getting better, I can! If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you’ll probably know about everything I’m going to show you below.

I’m really excited to share with you my favourites, this month has definitely been a lot more active than February was.

Missed my February Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.

Shall we get started with my March Favourites?

Snow – I know what you’re thinking snow in March! Yes, that white fluffy stuff did make itself known this month, we’ve had quite a lot of it recently, it’s definitely been a weird Winter. Snow does bring with it positives and negatives including working from home, not being able to travel and snowman making.

Luckily with my job, I am able to work from home as long as I have my laptop and internet! I was also able to create a tiny snowman in our backyard, which was actually the first time as in the South West, we hardly had any snow. I’m glad it has seemed to be all over now though, I am definitely ready for Spring to arrive!

Dr PAWPAW – This month, I finally got my hands on Dr PAWPAW and their Original Balm! I think I’m in love, the change in weather has made my lips become really dry but this was the perfect solution! I can’t believe I haven’t tried their products sooner, there’s a whole range of products that I am very excited to try.

After the positives their Original Balm brought, I’m definitely going to continue using it and see how their other products can help me. Don’t worry, there will be a full review on An Ocean Glimmer this week! So definitely stay tuned to see what I thought of the Original Balm and how it could help you.

VW Racing CupEaster weekend I visited one of my many homes, Silverstone to attend the British Racing & Sports Car Club. I had a fantastic weekend! Taking photographs, watching the racing and visiting my friends. Of course, those friends I’m speaking about is Team-HARD yes, the same team that I spent Race Day with for the 2016 British Touring Car Championship.

It was a cracking weekend and it was lovely to watch the Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup for the first time as well as the very first round of the Touring Car Championship UK. One thing though, I forgot how cold it gets at Silverstone! So the second day visiting, I made sure I had enough layers and gloves. It was also pretty impressive having the opportunity to go onto the TCR UK grid for Race 1.

I might even treat you soon with all the images from the weekend! Depending
on when I have free time, but for the moment, a teaser below.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins – I am a massive fan of games, I love getting lost in an imaginative world, it’s lovely and gives you a couple of hours of freedom. Recently I’ve been loving Assassin’s Creed, now if you’re a gamer, you’ll know this came out in October and yes, I normally finish within a couple of weeks.

October and November went super quickly, with starting a new job and living in a new place, it was impossible to play. Recently I’ve had a bit of free time, meaning I’ve been gaming a lot! I’ve loved it and it’s such an addicting game, it’s crazy how much they’ve continued to improve the series, I’ve fallen in love, I know it’s going to take forever to finish!

Easter – Who doesn’t love Easter!? I know it doesn’t stand for what it actually is anymore, but it’s nice to have a long weekend with your family and enjoy yourself with a mini break. I had an enjoyable weekend, a lot of blogging, chores and visiting my second home Silverstone for the VW Racing Cup.

This has been my first Easter at home, to relax and enjoy myself, as now I have a full-time job, I have these days off instead of having to work! It’s been good to take a mini break, it’s been no means quiet, it’s been full of adventures and full times. Also, it was nice receiving Easter eggs from my employer.

Formula 1March is a great month for Motorsports, everything seems to start this month. Now I don’t mean testing but actual racing woo, most importantly the first Grand Prix of the 2018 Formula 1 Season. I love F1, it’s by far my favourite season and this year I’ll be cheering on Daniel Ricciardo all the way.

I just had to treat myself for this season and buy a Red Bull Racing t-shirt and Ricciardo’s hat from the 2017 Austin Grand Prix. Now I’m fully ready to support Ricciardo all the way during 2018. After a cracking first Grand Prix, I know this season is going to be a good one! Fingers are cross Ricciardo doesn’t have another poor season.

I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! I never actually realise how much I’ve done and enjoyed in a month until I speak about it here. March has definitely been a good month, April is looking to be a good month as well, with the first car show of the year in Birmingham and seeing all my friends from Plymouth.

What’s been your favourite thing you’ve done in March?
Let me know in the comments.
