April Favourites

Can you believe it, it’s officially May! May is one of my favourite months as things start to pick up, there are different car events to attend and it’s starting to get warmer. I’ve had a great April, there’s been a lot going on and I’m glad to finally be doing things outside of work. Least with the weather getting better, I can! If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you’ll probably know about everything I’m going to show you below.

I’m really excited to share with you my favourites, there’s been a lot going on throughout April and I’ve enjoyed a lot of different products.

Missed my March Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.

Shall we get started with my April Favourites?

Marked 6 Months at 4CMApril marked a total of six months at 4CM, it only feels like yesterday that I started with them! I have loved every moment with them and I am still learning each day. Recently there has been a few changes, but they’ve been for the good and I’ve been able to prove myself! As well as getting praise from the MD.

Pride of Longbridge – For the past two years, myself and Yasmine have started our car show season with Pride of Longbridge and this year was no different. We had a lovely weekend with our MG Rover South West family, it was an eye opener to how much we’ve missed them! The best part was being outside the factory, speaking all things cars, as well as taking some fancy photos.

Pride of Longbridge

Brooklands Museum – Even though Pride of Longbridge normally marks the start of car show season, we actually visited Brooklands Museum when they were hosting an MG Car Club meet. There’s soo much history at Brooklands, it’s perfect, especially with the bank they use to race around. With so much to see and do here, you’ll be here for hours! Especially if you’ve got a love for Concorde like Yasmine does.

Friction Free ShavingApril was the month where I came across Friction Free Shaving, thanks to an amazing review from SunshineSarahxo! I knew I just had to get my hands on their products to see if what everyone was speaking about them was true. I’m not going to go into too much depth here as I’m treating you to a full-length post at the end of the month. Let me just tell you though, how amazing the blade looks and feels.

Carspünk Partnership – I love my car and cars in general, there’s nothing better than treating your car to some special treatment from time to time. I received a very big box full of goodies, all to treat my car with as I’m now officially an ambassador for Carspünk. Of course, a love for the products will take a little while, there’s going to be more coverage on my social media channels and here on An Ocean Glimmer!

Stay tuned for an introduction coming soon!

Carspunk

Old English Co. – I am a massive stationery addict! So when they reached out to me to collaborate, I was jumping for joy and quickly said yes. Their products are amazing with perfect quality and reasonable prices. All their products go really well together and they scream blogger! I recently did a haul that you should all check out if you’re like me and addicted.

I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! It’s always crazy how much you do over a course of a month. I love looking at my Instagram to help me reflect on the previous month. April has definitely been a good month, May is looking to be a good month as well, there are more car shows and I will be back at Silverstone for the FIA Rallycross.

What’s been your favourite thing you’ve done in April?
