It’s such a nice feeling when you enter a competition and you find out a few days later that you’ve won! I swear I go through stages of never winning, then I suddenly win everything I enter. Recently I came across With Love Yossy, a fashion, travel & lifestyle blog from Yossy. She shared her Affordable Oily & Acne Prone Care Routine, which featured Dead Sea Mud Mask from Ivy Beauty.
Not only was she gifted this Mud Mask but also hosted a competition in collaboration with Ivy Beauty. I know, you probably know where this going, I was the lucky competition winner and I was very happy to receive it! As well as trying this Mud Mask that Yossy spoke very highly of and mentioned it worked wonders for herself in tackling her oily and acne prone skin.
Before I get into my thoughts on this Mud Mask, I wanted to introduce you to Ivy Beauty as I never heard about them before receiving this product.
Ivy Beauty was created by two aspiring entrepreneurs, who feared the failure of turning a potential idea into a real business. Having spent months researching and looking at evidence relating to the harmful effects of constant exposure to pollution and chemicals that are used in everyday skin and body care products, they decided to take matters into their own hands and follow their dream.
With a vision to create a truly organic and all natural range of products that are effective, affordable and accessible across the UK. Not only does Ivy Beauty have a commitment to their customers but also the Earth, as they operate in an environmentally responsible manner, with a promise to never use harmful chemicals and to never test their products on animals.
I adore coming across new and upcoming products / brands there’s just something about it! It’s crazy how many products are out there for all kinds of things and especially with suffering from acne recently, this could really help me out, especially with Yossy speaking so highly of it. Also, there are a lot of good reviews out there for the Mud Mask so I couldn’t wait any longer to try it for myself.
Dead Sea Mud Mask – Due to the Dead Sea Mud potent clay minerals, our 100% natural advanced formula face mask has the ability to pull the toxins out of your skin pores, detoxify cells and offer a deep cleansing and exfoliating experience. Natural minerals and fine extracts work together to fight acne, reduce pore size and diminish lines and wrinkles.
The Dead Sea Mud Mask is brilliant! You don’t have to use that much to receive a good coverage and is it strange to say that I feel like it’s working as soon as it touches my skin? It’s the perfect product to use during a pamper session in the evening, I love putting it on just before a relaxing bath. Of course, I haven’t been using it every night! But once or twice a week is lovely, makes your skin feel really refreshing.
Unlike my Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask, it doesn’t make me look like an ogre as Yasmine says! This is my first Dead Sea Mud Mask and I can safely say, I’m going to continue using, especially for those pamper session evenings. It’s the perfect mask to put on just before you slip into the bath. I think I need to continue using it to see the effects of the natural minerals, with it supposedly good against the fight against acne.
I did notice the impressive reduction in redness and some spots had even dried out a lot more, I had a really horrible one on my chin and poof, it was gone. Who doesn’t like feeling soft skin? Once you remove the mask, your skin feels super soft and suddenly you just can’t stop touching it! There are so many good ingredients within this mask, a good combination to say goodbye to your skincare problems.
As I mentioned above, Ivy Beauty is cruelty-free, meaning they don’t and never have tested their products on animals. I have loved supporting brands that are cruelty-free recently as I believe it’s such a big thing and you receive a lot more love. There are so many great brands out there and it seems nowadays, to get notice it’s good to be cruelty-free as this is something a lot of people care about.
I hope you have enjoyed this post! Have you tried anything from Ivy Beauty?
