LUSH Spring Haul

I think there’s a theme going on here, recently I visited Westgate in Oxford, a recently remodelled Shopping Centre. Now, it opened late last year, perfect timing for Christmas! For an exploration though, not good timing, I’m not a fan of busy and crowded places, I’ve said to Yasmine since I heard about it’s re-opening, we should go and visit. Finally, we had the opportunity to go visit!

I’m not going to go too much in depth about Westgate and my adventure there, as you’ll see from the title, this post isn’t about that. Some could say it’s about something so much better! That’s right I’m talking about LUSH, somewhere I’ve become addicted too since leaving Plymouth actually. We’re not lucky to have one in Aylesbury, our closest is either Oxford or Milton Keynes. Depending on what way you want to go!

I have fallen in love with quite a few LUSH products over the past couple of months, including their Cosmic Gift Set and Christmas Bath Bombs. It’s no special occasion at the moment, but it didn’t mean I couldn’t pick something up! With hardly any limited addiction products, it did mean, I could have a look at their shall we say, ‘normal’ products. As this store was a little bigger than the Plymouth store, it did take a while!

There was so much to look at, not just including Bath Bombs either, it was great to see a variety of products on show. In the end, I was able to control myself and only pick three! Of course, I had to let Yasmine choose one as well, seeing as she’s addicted to them as well. Meaning we came out of LUSH with four different products, two Bubble Bars and two Bath Bombs.

One Eskimo Bubble Bar – This was the first product I chose to try as it’s super adorable, now surprisingly this is actually from their 2017 Winter Line! So I’m surprised the Oxford store still have stock left. One Eskimo contains a long list of menthol-fresh ingredients, including Peppermint, Spearmint and Grapefruit. Making it the perfect Bubble Bar for a pamper evening when you need a little pick me up or just to relax.

Sakura Bath Bomb – This Bath Bomb was chosen by Yasmine as she fell in love with it so much last time! Sakura is a celebration of Spring, bursting into a floral fragrance and is inspired by the Cherry Blossom in Japan. I suppose this is why it has such a colourful top, also smells amazing. Unlike some of the other Bath Bomb, it’s quite simple and not very intense, I suppose it depends on how you want to unwind and relax.

A French Kiss Bubble Bar – I’m pretty new to the whole Bubble Bar thing, I’ve only just come across them. Actually, both A French Kiss and One Eskimo are my first ones and I’ve been excited to try them ever since. This Bubble Bar is perfect to treat your skin to the soft herbal kisses of fresh Rosemary and Lavender. Under running water, you crumble the Bubble Bar for a paradisaical bath full of the scents of Southern France. It’s the perfect product to add to your bath to relax and with extra virgin Coconut Oil, your skin softens.

Big Blue Bath Bomb – Now I picked up this Bath Bomb in the queue, as soon as I saw it, I just had to pick it up! I’m a massive fan of anything blue and I know how relaxing anything blue can be from LUSH. Once it touched the water, it evoked a summer’s day at the seaside in the bathroom as Big Blue is filled with key ingredients which unleashed from this big Bath Bomb. Inside you have Arame Seaweed, which softens in the hot water.

Unfortunately, once you’ve had your lovely relaxing bath, the Seaweed lingers on the bottom of the bath and does take a little while to go down the drain. I love how inside there’s also Sea Salt, another ingredient that adds to the summer’s day. This Bath Bomb is definitely the best and I love how much it reminds me of Plymouth and the coast. Big Blue left the room smelling amazing, this probably has something to do with the Lemon and Lavender Oil.

There we go! Review of the latest Bath Bomb / Bubble Bar I bought from LUSH. I’m always really excited by LUSH products, they may be a little pricey compared to other Bath Bomb, but they’re really worth it and give you a great experience! Also, I fall in love with Bath Bomb all over again. I really hope you’re enjoying these reviews, there’s definitely more to come! And not just with LUSH, so look out for those.

I hope you have enjoyed this little review! I would love to know you’re favourite
product from LUSH, let me know in the comments!
