Collection of Goodies from The Body Shop

A few weeks ago, I shared with you my experience at The Body Shop VIP Evening at their Oxford store. If you haven’t already read that post, well what are you waiting for! Before reading the below you should definitely catch up with my thoughts on the very special event here. It’s the perfect introduction post for what I’m going to share with you today, that’s right I am talking about all the goodies I received from The Body Shop.

I won’t be going into too much detail here because with receiving so much I would be here forever. If you interested in any particular product below, I might just write a review just for that product! Even any that I really enjoyed and just have to share my thoughts with you. There are even a couple brand new products, I’ll probably introduce them further in their own post.

Enough chit-chat, want to see what I received? Well, carry on reading.

Mango is 100% my favourite scent from The Body Shop, it’s an amazing smell and it lasts for hours. When I saw the Shower Gel inside my goodie bag and a full size at that, I was in love already. It’s the perfect timing as well as we are running out of Shower Gel. The next two items are ones I bought, the Face Mist in Coco Calming and the Body Yogurt in Strawberry, the latest products to The Body Shop.

The Face Mist is a simple product, it is an easy way to instantly hydrate your skin. In the warm weather, we’ve been having recently, this is the perfect product to hydrate your skin as that’s just as important as drinking water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Ever since I came across these on Instagram, I knew I had to get my hands on one, the second product is their brand new Body Yogurt.

One problem with their Body Butter is how long it takes to absorb, with the Body Yogurt though, it’s absorbed instantly! Meaning you don’t have to wait forever to get dressed in the morning and leaves no residue. It also provides up to 48 hours of moisture, no need for reapplying constantly throughout the day. This is definitely a favourite of mine, I hope soon they bring out a Hand Cream version.

The next three products are all mini testers, even something you’ll find from their Christmas Advent Calendars each year. Testers are definitely a good way of trying a product without having to fork out loads of money, then find out you don’t like it! I don’ think I’ve ever used an Exfoliating Body Scrub within my routine but after receiving this one in Shea, I am a little excited!

It’s as simple to use as their Body Butter, you use the Body Scrub as a step before to slough away dead skin cells. Next is the Spa of the World™ French Grape Seed Scrub, a selection of products that I’ve always wanted to dry but just haven’t got my hands on them. It helps to invigorate, exfoliate and refine your skin, a perfect addition to your pamper evening.

The last product is a little odd for me as it’s one from their Drops of Youth™ range, one that targets the first signs of ageing with their youth-enhancing concentrate. Is there an age limit to when you can start using ageing products? Is it ever too early? It’s a good little tester pot to get a good feel for this product. Thankfully it’s an easy product to add to your routine, use a couple of drops before your usual moisturiser.

I also received a small range of one time only samples, these aren’t my most favourite as I feel using a product a couple of times is better to understand the product than these one time only. I have heard good things about the Vitamin E Moisture Cream and I’ve wanted to try it but with sensitive skin, I’m not sure if I would react and whether it would be suitable for me.

I’m not a massive fan of using oils on my skin, I doubt I will use the Oils of Life™ Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil I received as it’s another product that the signs of ageing appear reduced, with skin looking revitalised and feels more elastic and firmer. I definitely feel that I won’t be using this anytime soon as it’s just not for me. If you’ve been following An Ocean Glimmer you’ll know how much I love their Tea Tree range.

I was excited to see their Tea Tree Oil for Acne that you use on targeted areas of concern and reduces blemishes. Sounds perfect right! Tea Tree oil is renowned for its powerful, purifying properties, making it a good acne fighter. I’m definitely going to be using this product to apply directly to areas of concern. The last sample I received was their Body Yogurt British Rose, which when I tried in the store, smelled amazing!

I am definitely in love with their Body Yogurt range, it’s perfect if you’re a fan of their Body Butter as I said above. The consistency is perfect but I do feel this sample will last once and only on my arms instead of my whole body. I’m glad they brought out samples of their new range as then you’re able to use it in the comfort of your own home.

Few! I knew this would be a long post. Thank-you for all of those that are still here after this very long post. I hope you have enjoyed this post and even found a new product. I’m really excited to try all these products, especially all the mini testers of products that I’ve wanted to try for a little while now. Samples / testers are definitely a must when you want to try something new!

I hope you have enjoyed this post! What is your top product from
The Body Shop you couldn’t live without?
