Review: My Personalised Case

Just over a month ago, I upgraded my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S7 to their latest model the S9, of course, this meant I needed a new case to protect my phone! I am a massive sucker for great and reasonable priced phone cases, it can be quite hard to find one that matches my style. There are so many on the market, how do you choose between them all?

What if there was a service where you can personalise your own case? It takes all the searching out of the equation for you, you’re able to decorate the case however you like. Want to include a family favourite photo? How about a cute image of your pet? Even something simple like a fancy print with your initials. There are a few companies out there that can provide this service.

When My Personalised Case contacted me about a collaboration, I jumped at the chance!

Before I knew about My Personalised Case I used to always buy my phone cases from Amazon but when they arrived I was always disappointed by the quality and they would usually brake or snap within a few months which isn’t good. I’ve never designed my own phone case before so I am thrilled to be able to collaborate with My Personalised Case.

Before going straight into the service / products, I thought I would speak a little about My Personalised Case.

Who are My Personalised Case?

My Personalised Case started in 2009 and was one of the first providers of personalised phone cases in the Netherlands. They have perfected their technology over the years to provide good quality products at reasonable prices. They know that their customers simply want to design a custom product and receive it as soon as possible.

Their products are not only made for special occasions. Nowadays, most companies sell the same kind of items but with My Personalised Case, you can create your own style. They have a wide range of phone case models. Their customiser has been designed to be user-friendly and only requires a few clicks to design your own product.

Samsung Galaxy S9 – Personalised Hard Case

You can finally design your own Galaxy S9 case! Design a phone case with a photo of your favourite memory. The stylish hard case ensures that your phone is protected against all kinds of scratches and bumps.

I am in love! There are five styles to choose from for your phone, Hard Case, 3D Hard Case, Wallet Case, Wallet Case Full and Silicone Case. It was a tricky decision but I went for the Hard Case as this is the style I’ve always gone for to protect my phone. With a personalised service, you want it to be user-friendly and simple to use. It was exactly that, from choosing the background colour of the case to the design.

I wanted mine to be simple and stylish, to match my style and expectations from a phone case. I could easily go for a white background colour and then I used one of my favourite patterns, blue marble. I liked how they had a selection for already made collections, including geometrics, nature and quotes, you can further personalise these with your own text, filters and stickers.

There are so many different styles to choose from, they even have a variety of templates to add more than one image on the back. Fancy having six of your own images? Well you can do with one of their grid templates! They even have templates which include fancy background or even text on marble, whatever takes your pick, I swear you can create it! I love how you’re able to see where the camera is.

This is helpful so you don’t get disappointed when it comes in the post and your favourite image is cut off thanks to the camera! Thankfully you can make the image bigger or smaller, this will help to fill the space but also move it about to miss the camera. It might have taken me a little longer than originally expected, as I just could not choose but I’m really pleased with the quality.

The phone case cost just £12.45 and for the quality, you can’t fault it, I’m very happy with how my phone looks now and as you can see from my photo’s the print is amazing! Overall I am very happy with My Personalised Case, both for their selection of phone and tablet cases. The service is easy to use and very user-friendly, even allowing a lot of personalisation for any taste.
