Monthly Favourites // September 2018

Can you believe it’s October? Seriously where on earth is 2018 going, it’s officially Autumn, Halloween is just around the corner, it’s nearly my birthday and before you know it, Christmas is here. I hope you’re all having a great start to the month, October is one of my favourite months and I’m super excited for the upcoming month.

Before we go full steam ahead for October, let’s first review SeptemberSeptember was a great month, it’s definitely starting to slow down in the activities I am doing, it was quite hard to come up with a lengthy Favourites post like recent posts. I am really enjoying sharing my Favourites with you.

Missed my August Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.

Shall we get started with my September Favourites?

MG-Rover South West Owners Club Beach Meet | One of my favourite car meet of the season is most definitely the Western Super Mare Beach Meet with MG-Rover South West Owners Club. There’s nothing better than parking up on the beach, eating cake whilst drinking coffee and chatting with some great friends. We always go out in force for this event and I think I know why. It was definitely good to see everyone after three months of not seeing them.

Birthday Celebration | We always have that one month a year where there seems to be a family member’s birthday every day. September is one of those months for me, I have a total of five birthdays to celebrate. When you’re older, you don’t seem to celebrate your birthday like you used to, for my cousin this was a special one as he turned two. I forgot how carefree that age is and I love him to pieces! It was great to spend the day with my family while celebrating his birthday. Also to see his face light up when he opened his presents was perfect!

British Touring Car Championship Silverstone | It’s no secret that I am a massive petrol head! September was no different as I visited Silverstone for the penultimate round of the British Touring Car Championship. This was a cracking weekend with great people, I had miles of fun for our last event on the calendar with Silverstone Race Makers. Best moment of the weekend, I had the opportunity to meet the driver that I’ve been supporting the whole season, Tom Ingram.

Deadpool 2 | Back in February 2016, Ryan Reynolds graced us with his presence in Deadpool, a movie and character I have loved ever since! This year, we were given the sequel Deadpool 2, after months of wanting to watch, I have finally watched this month. It was exactly what I wanted it to be and I’m still in love! Makes me miss reading the comics, it was a cracking film and love the cast for X-Force. Also like most Marvel/DC Comic films, you just have to stay until the end credits!

Marvel’s Spider-Man | Another thing you might not know about me, but I adore gaming, you could even label me as a Gamer Girl. I have shared a couple of my favourite games in the past, this month is no different. I have been addicted to the latest PlayStation game, Marvel’s Spider-Man. I haven’t got the hang of swinging but combat is brilliant, it’s been linked to being similar to Batman combat and I would have to agree. If you’re a fan of Marvel, I definitely recommend getting your hands on Spider-Man.

I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! It’s always crazy how much you do over a course of a month. I love looking at my Instagram to help me reflect on the previous month. September has been a quieter month compared with recently but that’s good, as they say, calm before the storm! I’m excited for October, as again I’m visiting Silverstone for our end of year celebration and there are a few car meets planned.

I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your
Favourites from September?

  1. Ooh well this sounds like it’s been a fun and positive month for you! It’s so nice how much you’re interested in your cars and how much time you dedicate to it, definitely something different! 🙂 I’ve never been a huge Superhero fan so I haven’t even watched the first Deadpool yet but I do love me a bit of Ryan Reynolds if we’re being completely honest here… I’m soo looking forward to the coming Autumn and Winter months, by far the best of the year!!

  2. I love reading the monthly favorites cause you are so right – its not until you go back and think about it that you realize how much you rally accomplished in 30-31 days! It also allows you to reflect on the things that you may want to accomplish for the following month! I haven’t watched Deadpool 2 yet but I have heard so many great reviews I might just add that to binge watching movie list this weekend. Thanks for sharing!
    Much Love!
