Goodbye September! Hello October!
I’m really happy for October to be here as there are so many great things planned, I am pretty much busy each weekend. I thought October would start to slow down, oh how was I wrong. Autumn is here and it’s time to start getting festive, both for Halloween, my Birthday next month and finally, yes Christmas. I’ve had a really good September and have definitely felt good about myself.
Despite being really busy, thankfully I have been able to achieve quite a lot of my Goals. I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve, I have pushed myself and have been rewarded. I attended my last event at Silverstone this season as a Race Maker, visited Western Super Mare with my MG Rover family and work has been hectic as anything. I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // Septemer 2018 here.
Before I set myself some new Goals for October, let’s reflect on my September Goals!
Comment on Blog Posts | Done! Throughout September I have found a couple of new blogs to follow by participating in Comment Blog Pods. All you have to do is leave a link and head over to other blogs and comment. I have really enjoyed doing this, it’s great to share the love with fellow bloggers.
Plan September & October Content | Done! I planned all of September content within a matter of days and for October, well I nearly have all of my posts written and scheduled. It’s been a great couple of weeks and I’m really proud of myself, this is such a good thing as my weekends are still just as busy.
Attend the British Touring Car Championship | Done! Best weekend of my life, if you follow me on social media you would have seen my tweets and pictures. I met a couple of my favourite drivers, including Sam Tordorf, Tom Chilton and finally, Tom Ingram. It was cracking weekend and I’m so proud of Ingram to be on that top step again!
Increase Twitter Stats | YES! September has been a great month for my Twitter stats, I have finally reached 3.5k also all my analytics are in the green. I’ve tried really hard this month to not only share more content but interact with other accounts. I have participated in a couple of Comment Blog Pods and interacted with other bloggers. I have increased my tweets by 125.5%, tweet impressions increased by 6.6%, profile visits increased by 45.8%, mentions increased by 30.6% and finally, followers have increased by 129.
Spend Time with Family | Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to spend the amount of time with my family that I wanted. I haven’t since my parents and sisters this month, a couple of things got in the way and I wasn’t able to visit. I did, however, spend the afternoon with my Mum’s side of the family to celebrate my Cousin’s second birthday. That was a great afternoon and it was good to catch up with them.
Organise Photos | I have been able to go through some of my Silverstone photos. One event down, still three to go… Hopefully, before the end of the year, I’ll be able to get these across to Silverstone. I have though been able to sort through my personal images on Google Drive into the correct folders and make sure there are no doubles. You forget how many images you take!
Let’s get to my October Goals!
Comment on Blog Posts | I’ve had a really good time commenting on posts throughout September, I’ve received some really good comments and support. It’s great to support your fellow bloggers, I would like to continue this into October and hopefully, it becomes a part of my life.
Plan November & Blogmas Content | As I said above, I am pretty much done for October, even though it’s only the third! This gives me plenty of time to plan out November posts, hopefully even write some. Then I’ll be in a perfect position to start planning Blogmas. At the moment I’m not sure my schedule, this will be the third Blogmas so I’m not sure if I can think of any new ideas.
Increase Twitter & Instagram Stats | September has been a good month in terms of Twitter and Instagram engagement. I have had a cracking month, thanks to the Comment Blog Pods I’ve been able to increase impressions and followers. I really hope to continue this into not only October but also November and hopefully December.
Continue Being Strong | Overall if I achieve the above Goals in October, I’ll be in a very strong position and this will help with this Goal. I would love to continue being this strong for the last couple of months this year and hopefully end 2018 on a high. I’ve been keeping an eye on my 2018 Blogging Goals I set at the beginning of the year. Thankfully, I am doing well and these Goals will help.
Visit Millets Farm | I want to visit a pumpkin patch. I have never been one to pick my own pumpkin but after realising there’s one only down the road, I’m totally there! I’ve heard some great things about Millets Farm and I definitely can’t wait to visit, it looks so magical and special.
I hope you have enjoyed this post! What is the one thing you would love to achieve this month? Let me know in the comment!

Great post! I think it’s really helpful to write goals down and stay on top of what you want to achieve each month, makes you more productive too I think. October is one of my favourite months as it feels like there’s change in the air – both literally and metaphorically haha. Thanks for sharing xx
