Monthly Goals // November 2018

I’m really happy for November to be here as there are so many great things planned, I’m not as busy as October but it’s still going to be a cracking month. It’s going to be excited over the coming weeks as there are a couple of things lined up. For starters, November is my birthday month, with a fun action packed weekend and I will be at Silverstone for a murder mystery.

I have been able to achieve most of my Goals I set at the beginning of October I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve. Here we are again to first reflect on my previous Goals and then set some new ones for November. I visited Castle Combe with my MG Rover family, picked a pumpkin for the first time and wandered around Milton Keynes.

I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // October 2018 here. Before I set myself some new Goals for November, let’s reflect on my October Goals!

Comment on Blog Posts | Done! I have been able to smash October‘s Goal and reach over 600 views on An Ocean Glimmer. This is thanks to sharing my content on all my social media platforms and participating in comment pods. I have shared the love and had it returned, I have also come across some great blogs this way!

Plan November & Blogmas Content | Half done, I’ve been able to plan all and schedule most of my November posts. When it comes to Blogmas content, I have got a couple of ideas. I have a couple of holiday days coming up soon so I will be using these to plan and maybe even write the content.

Increase Twitter & Instagram Stats | It’s been a good month for Twitter and Instagram, I have been able to increase my following and my analytics are looking good. The results aren’t as strong as I had hoped but I’m on the up! I forgot how hard Instagram was to improve, I have everything crossed for November and December.

Continue Being Strong | Yup! Most definitely achieved. All my statistics have increased, I’m looking forward to the end of 2018, I’ve reached one of my main Goals of reaching 15k views on An Ocean Glimmer. After my dip in April, I knew I wasn’t going to reach the Goal of reaching 20k views. With an increase in views from September, I’m definitely moving in the correct direction.

Visit Millets Farm | Done! If you read my Monthly Favourites | October 2018, you’ll know that I visited Millets Farm and picked up a pumpkin! I’ve never been to a pumpkin patch before, I had a great day, it was nice to get out of the house and wander around. I didn’t realise how big the place was. Celebrations for Halloween are done, let’s get into the Christmas spirit!

Let’s get to my November Goals!

Reach 1k Instagram Followers | I swear I’ve been trying to increase my Instagram following for the whole of 2018. I would love to reach 1,000 followers in November, I’m just under 200 away but it’s soo hard, how could it be this hard!? If you’re not already following me, what are you waiting for? I always try to share whatever I’m up to.

Visit MCM Comic Con | I have never been to a Comic Con, for as long as I can remember I have wanted to go to one. I am a massive geek at heart and I know how much I would love it, quite freaky this year’s Birmingham MCM Comic Con is on my birthday weekend! Now my parents only live half an hour away, I’ve brought tickets. I’m super excited to go.

Plan Blogmas Content | I have thankfully planned and schedule most of my November content. Now it’s a good time to move onto Blogmas! I would love to get hopefully the first week or two planned out, maybe I could even start writing. As I had over ten days of holiday to use, I’ve taken most of these in November. I will use these days to plan the content.

Spend Time Outside | It’s now November and Autumn is definitely in full swing, it’s cold outside but that won’t stop me from enjoying being outside. I am such an outdoors person and I don’t want the weather to stop me. I need to spend time outside and just visiting places around me.

Finish Christmas Shopping | I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m just over half way with my Christmas shopping, I would love to be able to finish my Christmas shopping. This way I’ll be able to spend more time having fun and relaxing in December, not worrying about presents!

Write and Sent Christmas Cards | This Goal goes hand in hand with the above, I would love to be organised and get most of my Christmas cards written and hopefully sent. I have brought all my family cards, I need to now organise who else I need to send a card to. Last year, I enjoyed sending cards to fellow bloggers, hopefully, I can do this again!

Spend More Time with Family | Family is very important to me, after moving from Plymouth and now no longer living with them it has been hard and now I hardly see them. I try to see them as much as I can, they are a couple of moments I should be able to see them this month. Including my birthday weekend!

I hope you have enjoyed this post! What is the one thing you would love to achieve this month? Let me know in the comment!

  1. Awesome goals!! I’m in the same boat about planning holiday content: I love reading everyone else’s content during the holiday and sometimes let mine go slack, but I’m going to try and get my content uploaded and scheduled early this year!!

  2. I really love these kinds of posts! I’ve wanted to do these myself but my mind just fogs up and I find it really hard to think about things I want to achieve because I like to work at 500 miles per hour. You’ve definitely inspired me to think more about the things I want to achieve instead of winging it. OH, and by the way – You’re blog is stunning.

  3. These are such great goals! The Insta one is such a challenge these days isn’t it? You’re so organised with your Christmas shopping. I started mine yesterday and hope to be finished by month end too!

    1. Thank-you Chloe, so kind of youu! I thought most people would have by now, but they actually haven’t! I’m glad it’s all sorted though. Planned around this type of year is perfect.

  5. Good luck for all your goals I hope you smash them! I’ve never been to Comic Con either and would love to go to the Birmingham one but I’m already busy when it’s on so maybe next year! I definitely recommend using your free days to write Blogmas posts, I had a week off in October and got a good few of mine written so I felt more organised, I also have a Blogmas ideas post if you’re struggling for ideas!
