Hello December! Goodbye November!
The past month has been kind to me, I’ve still been very busy and enjoying a lot of different things. November has been a great month, it’s always one of my favourites months as I always seem to have many different things planned. Before we go full steam ahead for December, let’s first review November as I said above, there’s quite a lot to share with you!
One thing first, happy December! I’m so excited for the upcoming month, I am a massive fan of Christmas and this festive period. Being able to spend time with my family is great. I’m also going back home to Plymouth to spend Christmas with Yasmine’s family. Plymouth is always great at Christmas, I just cannot wait. There are many exciting plans to get me into the festive spirit.
Missed my October Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.
Shall we get started with my November Favourites?
Advanced Engineering | For the second year in a row, 4CM attended Advanced Engineering, a manufacturing and engineering exhibition. Of course, I came along for the journey again, it was a great exhibition and I was even able to put some names to faces. It was a really long day but definitely worth it, hopefully, we received some good leads to follow up and maybe even some prospect clients.
Stunt & Fireworks Show Silverstone | I adore having Silverstone on my doorstep, each year they have a Stunt & Fireworks Show around Bonfire Night. Of course, I had to go and didn’t even have to pay anything! Also, I was able to spend the evening with my parents and sisters. Note for next time, bring a thicker blanket!
Oxford Christmas Shopping | At the beginning of October, I had a total of 12 holiday dates to use up before the end of the year. I took this time to visit Oxford for Christmas shopping, it’s nice to adventure out and it not being that busy! Hate to think what Oxford is like at the moment. I also took the opportunity to explore Oxford, who knew Harry Potter was filmed there and Lewis Carroll was inspired to write Alice in Wonderland.
Waddesdon Manor Christmas Carnival | I adore anything Christmas, I do miss living in Plymouth with their Christmas market so after a quick Google I found our local one at Waddesdon Manor. Since living in Aylesbury, I have wanted to explore Waddesdon Manor so this was perfect! I loved all the little Christmas log cabins and exploring the forest around the Manor. Even though I don’t like celebrating Christmas until after my birthday, I left with festive vibes.
Malice Through the Looking Glass | As an end of year celebration for all the volunteers at Silverstone, they organised a murder mystery evening. I’ve never been to one before so was really excited over what this was all about! It was such a great evening, the food was top notch and I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in forever! It’s definitely an evening to remember.
23rd Birthday Weekend Celebrations | I am very thankful to have an amazing family. I spent the whole weekend celebrating my 23rd birthday in Nuneaton / Tamworth with my Dad’s family. It was lovely seeing my grandparents who I haven’t seen in a little while and just having a relaxing weekend. The best bit was definitely going to MCM Comic Com Birmingham on my birthday!
Betsey Wynne | There are so many pubs / restaurants both myself and Yasmine would love to dine at. For my birthday we decided to go to The Betsey Wynne, a small restaurant in one of the little villages we travel through. I fell in love instantly with the place, it was decorated for Christmas with pretty fairy lights. Also, the food was amazing! There was so much to choose from on the menu I can definitely see us going back.
I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! It’s always crazy how much you do over a course of a month. I love looking at my Instagram to help me reflect on the previous month. November has been a cracking month, as you can see it was a long and busy month but wouldn’t change it for the world! I’m excited for December, hello Christmas! I cannot wait to travel down to Plymouth and spend Christmas there.
I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your
Favourites from November?

Hi Gemma! First, happy belated birthday🎁🎂🎉. It sounds like November was a nice one for ya. I never been to a bonfire just sounds so cozy for this time of the year. How cool is it that you got to visit a Christmas carnival?! I always wanted to something like shop at a Christmas market. Last year my sis and I did a Christmas maze. I’m glad you enjoyed November, thanks for sharing 😃

I love how so many of your favourites on this are places – I would love to see Oxford in person, it looks like such a beautiful town and I love how prominently it features in some of my favourite books and movies. Have you read The Northern Lights by Philip Pullman? Some of that takes place in Jordan College in Oxford!
