I hope you’re having a lovely December, it’s not long now until Christmas. I cannot believe where December has gone! I’m really excited and can’t wait to visit Plymouth, it’s always weird going back home, in a good way though. Today I am sharing The Winter Tag, let’s get into the festive mood.
I always find them a good way to get to know a blogger and also I love thinking about the questions. Sometimes they can really make you think, in the past, I’ve really struggled to answer and find a good answer. Also, they’re really good for spreading the love in the blogosphere by tagging fellow bloggers.
I’m excited to share with you The Winter Tag, this tag was created by Kimberley over at Kimberley Sarah to celebrate this exciting time (you can read the original post in full here). I would love you to take part even if you’re not on the list below, it’s open to everyone. Without further ado, let’s begin:
Rules:
- Answer the 12 questions
- List 12 bloggers you want to do the tag. They can be anyone you want
- Let the bloggers know you nominated them
Questions:
What are your favourite things about Winter?
I adore wearing comfy jumpers, snuggling up on the sofa in front of a film relaxing. Christmas is perfect as well, I adore planning, buying and spending time with my family. I feel Winter brings soo much with it, not only Christmas but my birthday and sometimes even snow.
What is your favourite Winter outfit?
Winter is my favourite season for outfits, I adore everything from comfy jumpers, to the colours of red, yellow and orange. Also boots, boots are perfect for Winter! Keep your feet warm and there’s nothing better than putting thick Winter socks on.
What is your favourite Winter food?
Hmm, it’s got to be a roast! Unlike some families, we never have roast every Sunday, which means when Christmas comes around I love having the full works.
Favourite Winter drink?
Nothing better than a Hot Chocolate I swear this is such a good pick me up in the Winter. This year, the Creme Brulee Latte from Starbucks is perfect! They are killing it with their festive choices!
What is your dream way to spend a Winter’s day?
Of course, depending on how cold outside, I love exploring with all the different Winter activities, such as the Christmas Markets, Winter Wonderland. Then once you’re home getting into your pyjamas, lighting a couple of candles and relaxing with a film on.
What are you hoping Santa brings you?
Chocolate, books and hopefully a new blogging planner. There’s not much on my list but hopefully, I receive these.
What are the first three things that remind you of Winter?
Christmas, adventures and dark
What is your favourite Winter song?
I adore Christmas songs, cheeser the better! I love getting in the festive mood.
What is your favourite Winter memory?
There are a couple, firstly, I loved last year when we had proper snow! It was good fun for the first couple of days, building snowmen and how pretty the snow made everything. I was glad when it cleared up! Secondly, Christmas as a child, spending the festive period with my family up North. Nan always made a cracking roast dinner.
What is your favourite Winter scent?
There are a couple I love! I love the smell of cinnamon and cloves, basically spicy scents. Also the Turkey cooking on Christmas morning with all the trimmings, I hate having to wait soo long, when it smells so good. Even though I hate the taste, I adore the smell of Gingerbread, I’m currently loving the Gingerbread House Brittle from Fizzy Smelts.
Finish this sentence… If I could have one wish this Christmas it would be…
…for my family to be healthy.

Ah I love this, it’s such a festive post. I love getting cosy too and we rarely have roasts either so I love them at this time of year- stuffing is my favourite!

I loved reading your answers for this! My family are the same as you in that we don’t have a roast every Sunday either so on Christmas day I really look forward to my dinner! Christmas markets are my absolute favourite and I tried the Costa Caramelised Orange and Cream hot chocolate this morning, it was amazing!
