Can you believe what day it is today, that’s right, it’s Christmas Day! I hope you have all had a lovely day, opened all your presents and stuffed your face with amazing Christmas food. Don’t worry, I’m not writing this post on Christmas Day! It’s pre-written and scheduled because I need to spend the day with my family. I thought I would write this post as a reflection of December and 12 Days of Blogmas.
I would like to just say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me by reading my blog throughout December. I hope to continue creating great content for you all! I am always so thankful to all of those who continually read An Ocean Glimmer as well as those who are new if that’s you, why hello there! Without you, I doubt I would have ever continued.
December has been a great month, getting into the Christmas Spirit by visiting Waddesdon Manor for their Christmas Carnival and visiting Oxford for their Christmas Market. I have even celebrated with some good blogging friends by taking part in the Bloggers Secret Santa hosted by Casey. I also got in the festive spirit, with my work family as we had Christmas Lunch and Secret Santa.
As it’s Christmas Day, has anyone got anything exciting planned? Personally, it’s just opening presents and eating a lot of good food! This year myself and Yasmine have travelled down to Plymouth to spend the festive period with her family. I’m soo thankful to have an amazing family who are all healthy. I’m very excited to celebrate Christmas in Plymouth, seems forever since we were here.
I have come to the conclusion that I’m now going to have a mini blogging break! I’ve been very busy with 12 Days of Blogmas and I haven’t actually had much time to myself. I feel this is much needed especially, just to have a break and enjoy things other than blogging. I can’t actually remember my last break from blogging! I’m still going to be about on social media but there will be no new posts until mid-January.
Thank-you for reading, Merry Christmas! How are you spending Christmas?

Christmas Day in our world is a road trip day. My husband’s family does their family celebrations on Christmas Eve, and my family does on Boxing Day – so Christmas Day we road trip to my family.

Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas 🙂 We never really make a big deal of it and all of our family live here there and everywhere and aren’t particularly close as a group so it’s always low key in my house xxx
