2019 Personal Goals

I love creating new Goals, I feel soo inspired and it’s a great way to continue achieving. Each month I reflect on the Goals I set the previous month and create Goals for the upcoming month. It’s January, the perfect time to create Goals for the upcoming year, these are things I would love to achieve over the year.

I keep these Goals in mind when setting my Monthly Goals, using each month as a push for my 2019 Goals. There are some big and small things I would love to achieve, I did really well throughout 2018 and I am proud of myself. I feel 2019 will be a good year for myself and of course Yasmine.

Enough chit-chat, let’s get into my 2019 Personal Goals.

Own House / Move Out | I have been living in Aylesbury for just over a year now, with emergencies popping up for both myself and Yasmine, we have had to dip into our savings. We would have reached our Goal by now, but we’re still too far away. I have everything crossed that 2019 is the year, especially with opening a Help to Buy ISA.

New Car | Over the past couple of weeks, I have had minor problems with my car but I know soon these will turn into bigger problems. I have decided to purchase hopefully a new car, what that car is, is another story. I know in the long run purchasing a new car is the best decision before anything major happens to mine.

Promotion / Grow with 4CM | I have been with 4CM for just over a year now, I have pushed myself and been through a lot with them. I’m so hopeful that 2019 is the year, I’m being trusted with a lot more and I’m doing strategic work for all my clients. Could a promotion be on the cards? I will continue pushing myself.

Read 20 Books | In 2018, I read a total of 15 books, achieving my Goodreads 2018 Challenge. I am very proud of myself for achieving this! 15 books don’t seem many, but to me, it was a big challenge. For 2019, I’m going to push myself to read 20 books, I need to add more books to my TBR!

Volunteer with Scouts | I was a Young Leader for the Girl Guides for just over 5 years, when I moved to Aylesbury, unfortunately, this stopped. I would love to volunteer with the Scouts and hopefully have a community outside of work. I love volunteering, it gives you so many opportunities.

New Hobbies | I would love to do something else in my spare time, I’m not sure what but I would love to have a new hobby. Doing something other than blogging and working would be great! I have no idea what but I’m sure something will pop up soon and I’ll fall in love. This sort of goes hand in hand with volunteering with Scouts.

Spend More Time Offline | I think by volunteering with Scouts and having a new hobby, spending more time offline will come with it. I need to limit my screen time, maybe instead of scrolling through Twitter, I read a book. At least that will help with my Goodreads 2019 Challenge, I definitely need to be more adventurous.

Thank-you for reading! What’s one thing you want to achieve in 2019?

  3. These are some excellent goals. I also like to break my overall goals down into monthly goals. It’s a great way to get things done without getting overwhelmed or missing some goals.
