Last month, I shared my 2019 Personal Goals, it’s now time for my 2019 Blogging Goals. A range of Goals that I would love to achieve of the course of 2019 with my blog and social media platforms. Each month, my Monthly Goals will reflect my overall Goals, recently I’ve been pushing myself on Instagram and Twitter just to reach these Goals. While incorporating them monthly to my Goals.
2018 was a good year for An Ocean Glimmer, I reached 15k all-time views, I was close to reaching 1k Instagram followers, was a couple of days out and reached it in January. I have found some amazing people in the blogging community and attended my first blogger event with The Body Shop. Onwards and upwards in 2019, it’s going to be a good year for An Ocean Glimmer.
Enough chit-chat, let’s get into my 2019 Blogging Goals.
Be Consistent | If I post at least twice a week that will be over 100 posts in a year, some weeks might be lucky and have more. When it comes to December, I’ll probably do either Blogmas or 12 Days of Blogmas meaning more blog posts. In both 2017 and 2018, I wrote over 120 posts so I know I can do it.
20k Blog Views | I am currently on 17k views for An Ocean Glimmer, I think 20k views for 2019 is more than doable as the past two years I have done over 6k views. If I reach 20k views, I will be soo happy with myself and it would definitely complete an amazing year.
Go Self-Hosted | I know I put this as a Goal last year but after a couple of setbacks in my personal life, I was unable to go self-hosted. I would love to go self-hosted this year, I really think it will help An Ocean Glimmer to go further.
1k Blog Followers | I’m pushing myself to reach 500 blog followers, I’m sure 1k isn’t out of my reach! Would be a good number to reach, blog followers can be hard to reach but I am going to push myself, to be honest, like any of my channels.
100 Facebook Likes | Facebook is one channel I haven’t pushed to my audience that much, I need to have a good balance to reach as many people as possible. By balancing out my channels, I’ll be able to reach more people and hopefully receive more views! It’s another channel to get people viewing my blog. Now, how do I do that?
5k Twitter Followers | I swear I’ve been pushing myself on Twitter forever! I’m really close to 4k followers and I feel 5k is definitely in my reach. By pushing more content and sharing my blog, I’m sure this will reach to more people and then in turn, hopefully, follow me to stick around.
Regular Collaborations | 2018 was a perfect month for collaborations with brands, I would love to continue this into 2019. I would love to even attend more blogger events, 2019 will be the year of good collaborations. This will go hand in hand with me growing An Ocean Glimmer.
2k Instagram Followers | Instagram is one of the hardest platforms to grow, I pushed myself soo much last year and was able to achieve 1k followers. Onto bigger and better for this year with 2k followers, of course, it won’t be easy but I’m sure I can do it!
Thank-you for reading! What’s one thing you want to achieve in 2019 with your blog?

These sound very much doable 🙂 Going self-hosted is the best thing! You end up getting views from so many more places aswell and can build your site so much more. Facebook is a really hard platform to grow and the engagement on there can be shocking but it’s worth a try, Instagram can be such a pain too! I hope you reach your goals 🙂
