I can’t believe it’s March! Before we move forward to the new month though, now is a good time to reflect on the previous month and what happened. There is no better way of doing that than with my Monthly Favourites, it’s time to reflect on what happened in February. It’s incredible what you get up to in a month as well as the new products you are exposed to.
Missed my January Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.
Shall we get started with my February Favourites?
Popcorn Shed [AD GIFTED] | Who doesn’t love popcorn!? I am such a massive lover of popcorn, you might just remember my review of PROPERCORN, an independent popcorn company. This month I was gifted a small collection of popcorn from Popcorn Shed, I can tell you now they didn’t last for very long. Both Yasmine and myself fell in love with all the flavours, especially Berry-licious! Stay tuned to An Ocean Glimmer as there will be a full review of all these flavours.
Statement Made Jewellery [AD GIFTED] | I swear I go on about this ALL the time on An Ocean Glimmer but I love helping small businesses in promoting who they are and their products. February was no different as I received this adorable Unicorn Necklace from the lovely Statement Made Jewellery. Look how gorgeous the necklace is, it’s even got an adorable birthstone. Normally I don’t like Citrine but it works really well with this necklace, thank-you kindly Steph.
Goodbye ZR Hello 3 | If you read my January Favourites, you’ll remember that I mentioned that I had a couple of problems with my MG ZR and I had booked a test drive for an MG 3. I wasted no time at all in signing that dotted line, well only a few days later I received a phone call confirming my new car was ready for collection. I have truly fallen in love with the car, I would not change it for the world.
Adidas | I adore new trainers! Who doesn’t!? When I received the news from 4CM that I would be joining them, I treated myself to some brand new Adidas. Now those are just a little old and looking a bit sorry for themselves. I decided it was the perfect time to pick up some new ones! These snazzy Adidas are perfect, especially in burgundy. It’s good once in a while to treat yourself.
Renault F1 Team | This month Formula 1 has officially begun with teams revealing their 2019 liveries. One team, I was very excited to see their car and drivers was Renault F1 Team, yup that’s right, Daniel Ricciardo‘s new team. If I don’t say so myself, he’s looking mighty fine. The car looks and sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see the car in the flesh at the British Grand Prix. Also, the Honey Badger has his smile back.
F1 2019 Testing | February also marked Pre-Season Testing for Formula 1, the very first time we saw the 2019 contenders out on track. They drive around one of the best circuits, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain, it’s the perfect opportunity to see what the cars are like ahead of the start in Australia this month. It’s been a very long weekend so I cannot wait for Formula 1 to finally to begin.
Daniel Ricciardo in Pursuit of Greatness | If you didn’t know already, I am a massive fan of Daniel Ricciardo. I mentioned this above with Renault F1 Team! For Christmas, I added to my wishlist, Daniel Ricciardo in Pursuit of Greatness by Nate Saunders, a journalist at one of the world’s leading Formula 1 website, ESPN F1. I have only just got my hands on this after it was on order from the bookstore. I have fallen in love with this book and it’s great to read about Ricciardo‘s F1 career.
Scouts | When I lived in Plymouth, I was a Young Leader for a local Brownie Pack. Since moving to Aylesbury though, I haven’t volunteered with Girlguiding, I wanted to wait until everything had calmed down and I was settled. That time is now, I have started volunteering with the Scouts and I am officially a Section Assistant for a local Cub Pack. I have settled in well and everyone is so friendly, I cannot wait to continue my journey with them!
I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! It’s always crazy how much you do over a course of a month. I love looking at my Instagram to help me reflect on the previous month. February has been a slow month, despite there only being 28 days! I have struggled with new and exciting things to do in my free time, I am very proud to finally be a Section Assistant with the Scouts, it has opened the doors to many new things.
I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your Favourites from February?
