‘Beauty in a Bottle’, Generation Skincare*

[AD GIFTED]

Who can say no to new products? I am always on the lookout for products to try, you never know what you might come across. An email recently dropped in my inbox from Generation Skincare introducing their New Facial Serum; they call it ‘Beauty in a Bottle‘, with a request to review on An Ocean Glimmer. When they mentioned the lovely Sweet Orange scent, I couldn’t resist!

‘Generation A’ Facial Serum is a lightweight, all-natural serum that contains Vitamin B, C and E, Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid. Vitamin C helps to prevent signs of ageing before they even begin, to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. Alongside the Vitamin CHyaluronic Acid works to retain water and to keep the skin super hydrated.

The addition of Vitamin E is great for acne scarring whilst the Vitamin B improves elasticity, eases redness and irritations. Aloe Vera is well-known to be soothing and moisturising, all these ingredients are combined to create the perfect serum. The serum is suitable for all skin types, this put my mind at ease for trialling as with sensitive skin, I have to be careful about the type of products I use.

The ‘Generation A’ Facial Serum is cruelty-free with zero animal testing.

There are numerous benefits;

  • Perfect base and primer for your makeup
  • Help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and any signs of ageing
  • Clear and remove acne scars, will hydrate the skin
  • Prevents any skin breakouts

Application:

Prior to your moisturiser, apply 3-5 drops to dry, clean skin. Massage into the skin and allow a couple of minutes to pass for the serum to sink in. Then you can follow up with your regular moisturiser. It can be used twice a day, morning and evening. It has a relatively thick consistency but still absorbs pretty quickly into the skin. Thanks to the Sweet Orange oil, it has a beautiful scent.

Results:

I have been using ‘Generation A’ Facial Serum daily for just over a month now, I have seen a good difference in my skin. Who could believe a product could make such a change? It tingled the skin a little bit the first time I used the serum but it was a good tingle, a good tingle that means it’s working. Thankfully, there was no redness or sensitivity. Generation Skincare said that it can take between 7-14 days of continue use to notice results.

I would say I saw some good results from the first moment of using but definitely agree that continued use is a must! One recommendation, only apply as much as you need, if you apply too much then it can leave the skin feeling sticky. Don’t think about applying extra for the sake of it. The pipette dropper allows easy application and the correct amount of serum.

I have struggled recently with my sensitive and acne prone skin, but with ‘Generation A’ I have noticed a great difference. I did have a couple of tiny spots began to appear but after a few days of continued use, they all disappeared again. I’m glad I added this product to my morning and evening skincare routine.

‘Generation A’ Facial Serum is a fantastic purchase if you’re not minded by the potential tingling feeling. If you want to try out the serum you can grab a bottle from Amazon. Amazon is becoming the perfect place to purchase a skincare product. It’s allowing smaller skincare brands a platform to reach out to a new audience, reading reviews will help you to find something you might just fall in love with.
