Staying Motivated & Inspired in May

Oh, what a beautiful morning!

We’ve been really lucky with the weather recently, it does change its mind every day but still, it’s treating us well. I hope you’re having a beautiful May. Now that the weather is starting to improve, I don’t know about you, but I’m finding it harder to be motivated and inspired! I thought today I would share a couple of my tips to staying motivated and inspired if you have any tips yourself, please comment these below.

Write your top three tasks of the day | Each morning, write down your three tasks you have to complete that day. Be realistic with your agenda, we can be adventurous with our tasks and then not achieve the crucial items. Find them out and start planning your day around these tasks. Once these have been completed, anything more will be a bonus for that day.

Focus on what makes you happy | Unfortunately, not everything on our agenda is fun and interesting, but the thing is they have to be done. To get through them, find ways to be inspired and then complete them. I’ve found that by trying as much as possible to indulge in your favourite things throughout the week, you can get through it. This will even help to break up your day and even week.

Practice the 50/10 rule | I don’t know about you, but I cannot concentrate for long periods of time. If this is you, why not practice the 50/10 rule. Work on one important task of the day for 50-minutes, then take a 10-minute break to refocus. Break your day down even more by planning your tasks in order of priority, this way you get what should be done urgently completed and in good time.
