My Favourite Moments Since Becoming a Blogger

As the day, month and year go by, we are creating memories and moments, I’m such a big advocate of creating moments to remember. It has become easier to create memories thanks to the digital change, I remember growing up and having to wait weeks until you could view the images you snapped. Now all smartphones are cable of showing the image instantly.

Today, I thought I would do a special post, I have been blogging since October 2013, meaning this year I will be celebrating six years of An Ocean Glimmer. I thought I would go back through the archive of An Ocean Glimmer and share with you a couple of my favourite moments since becoming a blogger. Now grab yourself a cuppa and a couple of snacks, this is going to be a long one!

Book Blog Tours | I love a good book! What’s better than escaping to a different world for a couple of hours. Since becoming a blogger, I have joined a couple of Book Blog Tours, there have been so many! There have been some great ones over the years, even more, some amazing books. I know recently I had a break from Book Blog Tours, unfortunately, I couldn’t find ones I enjoyed! But now I’ve got a fair few lined up, I’m excited to share them with you!

Celebrating Blogmas | I have always adored Christmas, as a blogger, we have something called Blogmas where you share a festive themed post each day in December. I have taken past in Blogmas the past three years and have loved every moment, I have shared some amazing posts. Here are some of my favourites, 50 Things I Love About Winter, Gingerbread House Day, Aylesbury at Christmas and The Christmas Day.

The Body Shop VIP Event | I am always really appreciative of all the opportunities I’ve received. One that stands out the most is The Body Shop VIP Event, I had such an amazing time, trying new products and meeting some great bloggers local to me. Also, this was my first visit to the new style stores, they’re great, I love all the different features and being able to try the different products. It was also lovely to meet Andi from And Then Zen.

PROPERCORN Collaboration | My favourite and first collaboration was with PROPERCORN, I remember this one well as I reached out to them to see if we could collaborate and they said yes! Looking back at the post now I think wow, my posts used to be soo short. Now I just seem to go on and on, but they’re still of interest! That moment when the box arrived was like Christmas, I loved how the box was a crate full of popcorn.

Theatre Royal Plymouth Blogger Scheme | There are just a few things I miss from Plymouth, one of them being, the Blogger Scheme from Theatre Royal Plymouth. I had some great moments with the other bloggers on the scheme and we received some amazing opportunities. From watching some big performances to interviewing actors, we even went backstage countless times! Those are some memories that will keep with me forever.

I just wanted to say a massive thank-you to everyone who follows and reads An Ocean Glimmer, without you, there would be no blog. I’m thankful to every single one of you, there have been some great moments, onwards and upwards.
