Monthly Favourites // June 2019

Hello, there July!

Can you believe it’s already July? I’m so excited for the upcoming month, Summer is officially here! How long is it here to stay though? July brings with it a stream of exciting weekends, my July Favourites are sure to be packed and full. The countdown is officially on for the 2019 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, I am very excited for this, it’s the biggest event on my calendar each year.

Before heading into July, now is the perfect time to reflect on the previous month, I love doing this by sharing my Monthly Favourites with you! It’s time to reflect on what happened in June. Thankfully, I’m able to speak about a range of different things, a lot went on and I’m excited to share them with you today. There are even a couple of product Favourites, instead of just being all about the events.

Missed my May Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.

Shall we get started with my June Favourites?

Gilwell Funday | I started off June by visiting Gilwell Park, the perfect London rural retreat, for Gilwell Funday. This was an event hosted by the Scout Association, we took our Cubs out for the day to enjoy the weather and have fun on the different activities. This was my first time visiting Gilwell and what I loved the most was the little monuments to Scouting, there were so many activities, thankfully something for all.

It was a long day, by the end I was ready for bed and falling asleep on the coach! I’ve settled in well with our pack things are on the up and there are some great events already organised. Oh, thankfully, the weather was beautiful, there’s nothing worse than being outdoors trying to enjoy the activities in the rain.

MG Car Club Open Weekend | I am a massive fan of all things MG, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed? I’ve been an MG owner for three years, first my little ZR and now my brand new 3. So when MG Car Club announced they would be opening the doors to Kimber House for the first time on the weekend, I jumped at the chance to visit. They’re only half an hour down the road!

It was a great day, exploring the House, seeing all the merchandise and memorabilia from over the years. I even had the chance to catch up with a couple of people from the MG Car Club Young Members. Also, it was nice speaking with people about MG and hearing about their memories, of course, they all showed an interest! It was great being able to talk about my time as an MG lover.

MGs in the Park | Animals and cars!? Who could say no? We visited Cotswold Wildlife Park for the second year running for MGs in the Park, thankfully the weather stayed nice for us and we were able to explore the Wildlife Park. I love this show as it’s laid back, there are some great cars and exhibitors. Also, I love having the opportunity to catch up with people.

As Yasmine’s car is still off the road, we took my car, which led to me playing a game, spot how many Laser Blue facelift 3. Can you believe mine was the only one? I swear Laser Blue is a popular colour, to be honest, there weren’t as many facelift models as I thought. I’m sure that will all change soon! Onwards to the next car show for the 3. She also received quite a lot of attention, which I always love to see.

Beauty and Bentley | This month I introduced you to Beauty and Bentley, an Etsy store for Digital DownloadsBeautiful Prints and Home Decor. I received some gorgeous prints from the lovely Emma, they are now all on my wall! They’re great for bloggers as they’re some quotes we all live by Don’t be like the rest, But First Coffee and Blogging in Progress. Each of them sums me up pretty well if I’m honest, I’m very thankful for Emma gifting me these. Haven’t read the review? You can here.

Mål Paper Daily Goal Setter Planner | I love stationery, I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot recently. I need to share more stationery orientated posts, this month I fell in love with this gorgeous Daily Goal Setter Planner from Mål Paper. How beautiful is it? The back colour and rose gold go together really well, perfect for any stationery lover and any blogger. I’m very excited to start using this and become more motivated with my Goals. You can read the full review here.

Giraffe Date Night | Before you realise it, the month is over, where on earth has June gone? We ended June with a date night at Giraffe, somewhere neither I nor Yasmine has visited. Oh my, I can’t believe we never have! It was a gorgeous evening and the food was amazing, there was so much variety that I could not choose. We will definitely be going here again soon! If you’ve never been and love Mexican food, I recommend!

I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! It’s always crazy how much you do over the course of a month. I love looking at my Instagram to help me reflect on the previous month. June has been a blur but an amazing month, there have been so many adventures with current and new friends. Now we’re onto my favourite month of the year, July! Here I come the British Grand Prix.

I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your Favourites from June?
