Goodbye July, Hello August!
I hope you’ve had a lovely start to August. As it’s the beginning of a new month, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the Goals I set myself at the beginning of July. Then create new Goals for August, I’m really excited about the upcoming month. I am busy every single weekend. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad, ask me again at the end of the month!
If you want to see what I got up to in July, I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // July 2019 here. It’s great to review and reflect each month, sometimes you even forget what you’ve done. July was a cracking month, I’m very happy and excited to share with you my Favourites! PS. do grab a cuppa before you start though.
Before I set myself some new Goals for August, let’s reflect on my July Goals!
Read 2 Books | Unfortunately, I didn’t read any books in July so this one is unachieved. It’s not that I don’t have the books to read, it’s finding the time! I really just need to set some time aside during the evenings and read, I do miss it. Onwards and upwards for August though! I can still achieve my 20 books goals for the 2019 Goodreads Challenge.
Continue Visting the Gym | I am so impressed an proud of myself! This one is a big fat yes. I had a little wobble while away for Formula 1, I didn’t get back into the rhythm but I’m now back and raring to go! I’m really enjoying it and I am feeling good about myself.
Plan Summer Content | Hmm, I have been able to plan some of August which I guess is better than nothing! I have really struggled over the past couple of weeks, that’s why I haven’t posted much. I have to allocate some time for planning as August is going to go super quick.
Post to Instagram More | I was on par with June posting for July, that’s much better than previously! There has been some good coverage but I’m sure that’s only because I had things to speak about. Let’s see what August brings with all the different adventures I’ve got planned.
Attend British Grand Prix | Tick and tick! What an awesome race and event, I won’t talk too much about it here as pretty much my whole Favourites is allocated to this. Also, I’ll be sharing a Photo Diary very soon of some of my amazing moments from the weekend. I had a cracking weekend and I can’t believe how long ago it was now!
Let’s get to my August Goals!
Read 2 Books | I need to have this Goal on every single list from now until I achieve the Goal of 20 books. Can I do it? Well, one can hope! I think it’s going to be more graphic novels than actual books, but that’s ok.
Visit the Gym Twice a Week | I’m finding that my motivation is strong regarding the Gym. I’ve been pushing myself more and more, that’s why it’s going to be on my Monthly Goals indefinitely. It’s crazy how much I’m enjoying going to the Gym, even if it’s only a half an hour session.
Have One Date Night | It’s great to share an evening with Yasmine. We work 24/7 during the week and most weekends were super busy! I would love to have at least one date night with her. I’m not talking about out to a car show together, I’m talking about an actual sit down meal.
Reach 20k Overall Views | I am super close to 20k overall views! I’m really hopeful that I can achieve this in August, any support around would be much appreciated. Let’s have everything crossed for this, I will be counting down each and every day.
Post to Instagram More | I had a good July with posting more to Instagram, I have everything crossed for August! Especially as every single weekend, I have something planned, let’s see what this month brings. Really looking forward to sharing my adventures on Instagram.
Attend DTM | The most exciting thing for August will be DTM at Brands Hatch! I am soo excited because one, this will be my first time visiting Brands Hatch and two, my first DTM event. DTM is pretty much like BTCC and they visit England every season. I didn’t realise how close the circuit was, as soon as I did find out, I had to attend! Let’s do this.
Thank-you for reading. What is the one thing you would love to
achieve this month? Let me know in the comment!
Love Gemma x
