‘Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful’
Hello, world! I know, I’ve gone awol, again…
But I’m back and hoping to get back into the swing of things. I have missed blogging but as I’ve been super busy with work and getting ready for Christmas, things have dropped off a cliff. Good news though, I have plenty of new content to share with you. And with two whole weeks off work, with not a lot planned, I’m going to be on a writing spree. The first post to share with you is one of my favourites.
Since coming across LUSH, I have fallen in love with their products but with quite an expensive price tag, I can’t purchase everything. I like to treat myself once in a while and what’s better than with a bright and colourful bath bomb to transform you into a different world. I normally purchase their seasonal items, whether that’s Halloween or Christmas, and their beautiful gift sets.
LUSH is able to combine the best of both worlds and provide some amazing gift sets for Christmas. Don’t worry about your budget, their gift sets range from £11 to £53, all depends on what you’re after and who you’re shopping for. Of course, I couldn’t visit LUSH without purchasing one. The gift set of choice this time was Christmas Lights, featuring two bath bombs, The World’s Smallest Disco and Shoot For The Stars.
Now, shall we get started with this small LUSH Haul?
The World’s Smallest Disco | When you want to celebrate but don’t fancy socialising, put on your favourite tunes, forget about throwing shapes and toss this bath bomb into a hot bath instead.
This bath bomb turns the water into an incredible sparkling galaxy. The water is dark navy, almost black, and has blue and purple sparkles. The smell and softness of the water is gorgeous. It is also really fun to watch fizz as the colours spread out across the water. I LOVE this one. One downside though, you will need to rinse the tub out as it leaves dark watermarks.
Shoot For The Stars | A constellation of shimmer twinkles against deep blue waters as you soak in your own starry night sky, comforted by hydrating oils and butters that will leave your skin blissfully soft.
I love the strong blue colour that the water turns to, it felt so good on the skin and really moisturising! I think that’s the coconut and almond oil coming out. With sensitive and dry skin, I have to be very careful about the products I use but this bath bomb is just perfect. It also smells good enough to eat and doesn’t leave the bath with any scum that’s hard to get rid of (just a little glitter!).
This is a perfect gift for any occasion or even a gift to yourself, I loved each product in this giftset and it sets the mood perfectly for pamper time. I share my favourite LUSH products every so often, please keep an eye out on An Ocean Glimmer for future reviews! I’m definitely going to keep an eye out after Christmas, let’s hope for a good sale on all things Christmas.
I hope you have enjoyed this review! What’s your favourite Christmas item from LUSH?
