Goodbye February! Hello March!
I hope you’ve had a lovely start to March. As it’s the beginning of a new month, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the Goals I set myself at the beginning of February. Then create new Goals for March, I’m really excited about the upcoming month. It’s going to be a good one – I’m looking forward to the weather getting that warmer, hopefully. There are some exciting things planned for March.
If you want to see what I got up to in February, I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // February 2020 here. It’s great to review and reflect each month, sometimes you even forget what you’ve done. February was a good month, I’m very happy and excited to share with you my Favourites! Now onwards to March and hopefully another good month.
Before I set myself some new Goals for March, let’s reflect on my February Goals!
Book review post | Yup, tick! This month I read and reviewed The Vatican Games by Alejandra Guibert, you can read my review here. It was a lovely book and something a little different from what I normally read, but it’s always good to jump out of your comfort zone once in a while. Let’s see what books are lining up next.
Gym x3 per week |Hmm meh, I managed twice a week which I think is pretty good going. I just need to find that energy in me to go after work… finding that will power is super hard. When I get home, I just want to have dinner, then go to bed. If anyone has any tips, please let me know in the comments!
Get my ring cleaned | I wanted to do this when I was in Plymouth but as it needed to be sent away, I said I would do it when I got home. Then I just forgot! Ha oops, now it’s too late… It’s nothing urgent so as long as it happens soon, that’s all that matters! Maybe this month or next, who knows.
Continue posting ahead | Hmm I was doing so well but then I tripped on the final hurdle, I did miss one post in February. I think that’s pretty good going! I’m always proud of myself for that, it’s just trying to find those ideas though. I’ve got some lined up for March which is a good thing, now just to write them!
Do my skincare every night | I’ve gotten better BUT it was definitely not every night. It’s a struggle because when I’m tired I just don’t want to do anything. I need to give myself more time in the evenings, on a similar topic, my skin is clearing up and I don’t want to go backwards on this.
Switch off from work outside of hours | Hmm, if I’m honest, no I haven’t switched off as much as I would like! It’s very hard, especially when we’re still super busy. I need to but there’s just something in me that cannot stop. It’s not like I’ve got nothing else going on. Let’s push for this in March and beyond! Hopefully, things will start calming down.
Let’s get to my March Goals!
- Book review post
- Gym x3 per week
- Continue posting ahead
- Attend MCM Comic-Con, Birmingham
- Spend less money, only buy what I need
There we go, five Goals for March. Stay tuned to see how I get on with them. Will I achieve them all in March? Find out when I reflect on my March Goals in my Monthly Goals // April 2020.
Thank-you for reading. What is the one thing you would love to
achieve this month? Let me know in the comment!
