Introduction: PMD Personal Microderm by PMD Beauty

Now, more than ever is a great time to explore ‘at-home’ beauty tools. That’s why for today’s post I thought I would share with you the PMD Personal Microderm from PMD Beauty. Before jumping into my experience and thoughts, let’s talking about what the PMD Personal Microderm is:

A revolutionary at-home skincare tool that provides the same brilliant results as professional, in-office microdermabrasion treatments. By combining the power of exfoliation with a unique vacuum suction, the Personal Microderm works to remove the dead, dull skin cell barrier, increase blood flow, and stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.

There is no just jumping into using the Personal Microderm. There’s a certain way to use it and thankfully, the brand provides so much content to help you use it correctly, the first time. There is even a helpful video if you’re a visual person, this can be found here. Even inside the box, there’s an instruction manual with very important do’s and don’ts.

I really admire how much the importance of safety is stressed, PMD Beauty has provided everything you need straight away – you receive an instructional manual and DVD, plus there’s a handy one-page quick start guide. It can feel a bit information overload but this is really important! You definitely need to get yourself acquainted with the Personal Microderm before use.

The device is designed to work in all countries, it comes with a variety of international plugs. I was worried at first as I could not find the three-pin plug – panic over, it was hidden away! Everything has it’s own little home, the Personal Microderm does not come with a travel bag but with the way it’s organised, I’m leaving mine here. Then hopefully I will not lose anything!

All about the magical discs

At the core of the Personal Microderm, you have the spinning disc. This is covered with aluminium oxide crystals to deeply exfoliate the skin which removes the deals cells and triggers fresh, healthy cell growth. While spinning, the device’s suction lifts the dead skin cells away and removes both oil and dirt from the pores. The result, smooth and bright clear skin, which if done correctly, would be a massive result!

My experience with Personal Microderm

Now this would be the part where I share my experience but I have yet to trial the Personal Microderm, this is because I’m trying to get my skin and acne under control. I don’t want to make my already bad skin worse, but at the same time, I wanted to introduce you to the Personal Microderm. I’m on a new skincare routine and we’re moving in the correct direction.

Hopefully, soon I’ll be able to trial the Personal Microderm and share my true thoughts. I am really looking forward to using as I’ve heard so much good! There’s not much when it comes to beauty items that I love, my skin is definitely up there on the scale. Anything I can introduce to see an improvement is a must for me. Also, who doesn’t love a good at-home beauty tool to pamper yourself.
