Monthly Favourites // April 2020

Goodbye April! Hello May!

I hope you are all well and trying to live life as normal as possible. It’s hard to continue as ‘normal’ because what is normal anymore but this is the only thing we can do. Enough chit chat, about what we can’t control, today is the start of May – a perfect time to reflect on my Favourites for April. Now, this is definitely no ‘normal’ favourites! Just like March, my Favourites is exactly that – what I have loved throughout April.

If you following me on Instagram, you might just recognise some of my Favourites as I’ve been sharing with you A LOT of content on Instagram. I didn’t realise until updating my Goals, actually how much I have shared to Instagram – I hope you have enjoyed the content. What has been one of your Favourites from April? Let me know in the comments! I’ll love to know.

It’s time to reflect on my April Favourites:

All the car cleaning

You can definitely tell when it’s car show season, there are numerous car photos on my Instagram feed. Now, things are a little different but that doesn’t mean I can’t still share photos of the cars. I have been having a lot of fun by cleaning the car – so far it’s been three times just this month! I’ve never seen her so clean, she’s definitely getting spoilt at the moment.

All the blogging

I’m sure you will all love this one as well as me. With nothing else keeping me occupied, it means I’m able to blog more. I’m so proud of myself this month, I’m really hopeful that I can continue this into May. I’ve also had the time to be able to plan blog content, I’m really excited to share with you this content over the next couple of weeks. Also, blogging brings some normality to my life and I enjoy drafting them, it’s my little space on the internet.

Happy Easter

April brings with it Easter, for once, the weather was absolutely gorgeous! I celebrated by making Chocolate Nests and baking Easter Shortbread. Both received a 10 out of 10 by Yasmine. It was a good weekend, with a lot of baking, blogging and colouring. It was definitely a different weekend but it was still good fun. What did you do over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend?

Beautiful Spring

I know I mentioned Spring in my March Favourites with the start of the new season, but I’m still loving it this month! It’s been such a beautiful start to Spring, with the warm weather we have had barbeques and makes my daily walks more interesting. They’re colourful and I don’t have to wrap up warm! It definitely makes the daily walk more enjoyable and I actually want to do them.

Working from home

Last but no means least, my last Favourite is a little strange but it’s working from home. Since the beginning of April, I have been working from home, now it did take a while to get used to it but I’m now in a good position. It does feel weird though, I’ve always been used to people around me. Thankfully with technology, it’s easy to stay connected but it’s just not the same. I’ve also learnt that having a good routine is a must!

I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! I know, it’s been a little quiet this month, we’re all in the same boat. Thankfully I have been able to keep myself busy, I don’t know how long this is going to last, but I’m going to enjoy being busy while I am. Also, I’ve got some very good news, you might have noticed something a little different on my Instagram. I’m not going to spoil it, you’ll have to wait until my May Favourites.

I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your Favourites from April?
