Goodbye June! Hello July!
I’ve disappeared for a little but I’m back! I’ve been a little preoccupied with personal things but thankfully we’re all good and I’ve got spare time to get back blogging. So that’s the reason why this Favourites post is a little late! Also where on earth is the year going? I cannot believe we’re half way through July already. Before we know it, 2020 will be over! And this horrible year can be forgotten.
Who knows what July will bring? It’s already been quite a good month! Nothing dramatic has happened which is nice after all the bad recently. Of course, my Favourites are a little different at the moment. This month’s Favourites includes just that, what I have loved throughout June. If you follow me on Instagram, you might just recognise some of my Favourites.
What has been one of your Favourites from June? Let me know in the comments! I’ll love to know.
It’s time to reflect on my June Favourites:
Milton Keynes has some beautiful places! Many would think it’s just a boring grid system but there are some great beauty spots. Since leaving 4CM I have only really kept in touch with one colleague. With lockdown rules relaxing, I met up with them for a general catch up and chit chat. It was really nice just to be out and about, also thankfully it kept dry! Even though it was raining just before I arrived.
I couldn’t visit Milton Keynes without taking a trip to Starbucks! My first Starbucks in forever and it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, due to lockdown and now no longer working in Milton Keynes, it’s been a little while. Aylesbury does not have a Starbucks… I just had a simple one, Coconut Latte and it was everything I could imagine and more!
Birds of Prey
I am a massive fan of DC Comics, it’s no surprise really, I’m always sharing something. Since being released earlier this year in cinema, I have been wanting to watch this! Unfortunately I could not watch it then but that’s why I knew I had to pre-order it. That’s right, I’m talking about Birds of Prey! I know a lot of people disliked this movie but as a fan of Harley Quinn and Margot Robbie, I loved this movie. It was definitely worth the wait!
It’s funny, we’ve lived in Aylesbury for three years and its taken a pandemic for us to finally explore the area around us! Next place to explore was Wilstone Reservoir, I didn’t even know this place existed and it’s also really close to us. It’s a really place just to go for a walk. Unfortunately, we decided to go just before a storm arrived! We weren’t there for long before the rain started but we now know where to go for some fresh air.
Brothers Strawberry & Cream
I am a big fan of cider, if you know me, you will already know this! I’m always looking for new flavours to try and it was no different when I walked into Aldi. I came across the Brothers Strawberry & Cream. I was a little unsure but oh gosh, when I tried it, it was beyond amazing! There’s one bad thing though, it doesn’t taste like alcohol, so when you’ve finished one, it’s hard not to want another.
I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! I know, it’s been a little quiet this month, thankfully not as quiet as May though. It’s been a mixture of a month, but at the same time still a good one. Also I wish this weather would make its mind up! One minute it’s beautiful and sunny, next minute, it’s raining and windy. I’m excited to see what July brings with it, but I’m holding out for the positives and not the negatives.
I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is one of your Favourites from June?
