5 Things I Love About The Body Shop

Recently I’ve become addicted to browsing around The Body Shop and looking at all their different products, they have soo much on offer for different people with all kinds of skin conditions. It’s stretched so far that even the partner has fallen in love with their Body Butter and is always smelling of a different fruit!

I thought I would share with you today why exactly I love The Body Shop, so without further ado let’s begin.

1.Varitey of Scents

There is soo many different scents, it’s unbelievable how many they’ve got to offer! I’m pretty positive there’s at least one you’ll love. I love that you can get the same products for every scent, so you can pick up a Soap, Shower Gel, Body Butter, Hand Cream, Body Mist and even more! My favourites are Mango, Peach, British Rose and Strawberry.

2.Loyalty Card

They have their own Loyalty system called Love Your Body Club, they push massively for people to join their club which I love as there’s lovely bonuses! For every £1 you spend in-store or online, you receive 10 points, when you receive a total of 500 points you’ll get a £5 voucher, how amazing is that!

For your birthday, you also receive a £5 birthday, so you can buy yourself a cute present for yourself. Both vouchers are live on your Love Your Body Club card for 3 months, which is brilliant as you don’t have to rush to use them! I know vouchers from Argos are only valid for a month, doesn’t feel long enough!

3.Free Samples

If you follow The Body Shop on either Facebook or Twitter, you’ll know that sometimes they’ll give out free samples! This is an amazing opportunity to try a product without having to buy the full size item, it’s annoying when you buy something and it isn’t what you thought it would be!

4.Helpful Staff

I can’t talk for all stores across the United Kingdom but for all The Body Shop stores I’ve visited, the staff have all been really friendly and helpful! I don’t always need help, as it’s mostly just picking up a new Body Butter but when I visited the Exeter store and looked at their skin care range, the consultant was very helpful!

I explained to her what I required and she pointed me in the direction of the Tea Tree Oil skin care range. I fell in love with this range, after it worked really well with my skin, you can read more about the Tea Tree Skin Care HERE. After using these products for nearly 6 months now, I can see a difference and I won’t be going back to my old routine.

5.Their Commitment

The Body Shop was founded by Dame Anita Roddick in 1976, their story started with the belief that business could be a force for good. They are against Animal Testing and have campaigned a lot to end Animal Testing in the cosmetics industry. You’ll be amazed at how many companies test on animals.

They are also commitment to trading fairly with suppliers and in 1998 became a founding member of the Ethical Trading Initiative. It’s amazing how much The Body Shop supports everyone to be a force for good. If you wish to know more about their commitment, head over to their website HERE.

Well guys, I hope you have enjoyed my reasons for loving The Body Shop, it has made me want to venture in and pick something up! Let me know your reasons for loving The Body Shop, does anything stand out to you. I cannot wait to read your thoughts.

Sudocrem Skin Care Cream Review

When I was growing up Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream was one of those things that my mum always reached for, you know the cream in the tub. It was the all over problem-solver cream, from nappy rashes to playground falls and of course, even sunburn. This is a cream that I’m sure all your parents have used, I would say it’s a British favourite.

As I started to grow older, I used this on my blemishes, as it was very good at healing and clearing my problematic areas on my skin within days. With having long nails, it made it especially hard to use the cream, as it would always get within. To me I will always remember Sudocrem as being in a tub, it’s just a signature right!

Something has come into my life that has made my very happy, last month I was sent the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream* to try out. No more cream stuck in my nails with this handy 30g tube, how amazing! It’s been designed for those of us past the nappy-wearing stage to tackle skin problems. It uses the same key ingredients as the original formula but in different proportions.

I will admit, doesn’t seem as harsh on the skin. I use this product exactly the same as I did with the tub, after washing my face in the evening time, I apply this directly to my problematic areas. I have seen a massive improvement, from only using it just over a month. What I love is that this has been created with teenagers and young adults with spot prone skin in mind, to me that’s amazing.

I have loved the results I have seen so far, it will continue to be a part of my daily nighttime routine. If you would love to get your hands on the Sudocrem Skin Care Cream, you can at your local Boots or Superdrug! I would definitely recommend it if you are struggling with spot-prone skin.

Beauty Kitchen Create Your Own Lip Balms

Since Beauty Kitchen opened a concession store inside the Holland & Barrett More in Plymouth, I have been loving all their beauty products, especially as all their products are 100% natural. Over the Christmas Break, Georgina Minter-Brown hosted a competition on her Twitter where you could win one Christmas gift.

I was one of the lucky winners and I chose the Create Your Own Lip Balms from Beauty Kitchen. When I received it in the post, I was jumping for joy! I couldn’t wait to create the Lip Balms, I’ve been very busy since receiving it, so I’ve only just been able to make them. I will admit, they were a lot easier to make than I thought!
