This Time Next Year Tag 2019

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I posted the This Time Next Year Tag 2018 on An Ocean Glimmer. What is the This Time Next Year Tag I hear you say? Well, it’s a tag created by Sarah Lemmon, aka Little Reader, it’s basically inspired by a British TV Show where you see people present their goals for next year. Then it flashes forward 365 days later to see if they have achieved them.

This is how the tag will work:

  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Write your goals for next year
  • Write how you’re going to achieve your goals
  • Tag at least 5 of your blogger friends to share their goals
  • Then if you wish in 365 days write a post for everyone to see if you have been successful or not!

Monthly Goals // April 2018

Today is the day where I reflect on my March Goals and then setting some new Goals for the upcoming month. I love writing my Goals down as it is the perfect way of making sure I achieve things in the month. March has been an amazing month! You can check out what I’ve been up to with my March Favourites, where I show you what I’ve been doing, as well as products I’ve been loving.

This year seems to be going fast at the moment, can you really believe that it’s April, I don’t know where the time is going! Something that also proves that time is going quick, is that next week marks six months since I started with 4CM, which is something I can not believe! I love setting Goals each month as it keeps me motivated to achieve my year Goals. It keeps you going and you’ll know if you’re on target.

Before I set myself some new Goals for April, let’s reflect on my March Goals!

2018 Blogging Goals

Last month, I shared with you my 2018 Goals, I love creating posts like this as for me it gives me motivation for the upcoming year. Here I planned out the things I would like to achieve, I try and keep these quite simple and actually made them achievable! Nothing worse than picking a goal and not being able to achieve it during your desired time frame. This post though is all about my 2018 Blogging Goals.

I’ve really upped my blogging game over the last few months and I’ve got everything crossed that I can achieve a lot in 2018 if I put my mind to it! I was going to include these goals in my 2018 Goals post, but I felt it was better to separate them, else the post would have been quite long and I’m not sure how many of you would actually read that much. I finished 2017 reasonably good, even with not being 100% focused on my blog.

I feel 2018 might just be a good year for An Ocean Glimmer, shall we get started with my 2018 Blogging Goals?

2018 Personal Goals

It’s nearly the end of January, our first month of 2018 is nearly complete! It’s been a crazy month, as well as very busy, not only in my personal life but also at work, January is a horrible month having to pick up things after being off for Christmas. This is the first year I’ve experienced something like this as I’ve always worked in retail and a Christmas break doesn’t exist!

One thing I love doing at this time of year is plan out what I want to achieve, you could even call it complete. I know I do my Monthly Goals but those are more specific for each month, whereas these Goals I don’t actually know when I’ll complete them. I’ve never been one for setting New Year Resolutions, I feel Goals are much better, for me, they give more motivation to achieve them.

Book Review // Ordnance

Today is not only the first book review of January but my first book review of 2018. Even though we are two weeks into January, it still doesn’t feel like a new year. I hope things are going well for yourself and you’ve had a good start to the year. This week, I am privileged to be on the Ordnance Blog Tour, organised by the lovely Emma Green at The Book Marketing Expert.

I have my fingers crossed that I can continue these monthly blog tours into 2018, I loved reading each month last year, with thanks to Jenny Marston over at Neverland Blog Tours. By reading Ordnance, I am one step closer to my January Goal of reading a total of 3 books this month, I have also got a 2018 Goal of reading a total of 15 books. I think that is pretty manageable, don’t you?

I’ve set myself this challenge through Goodreads, you can keep up to date with my 2018 Reading Challenge here.

Now enough chit chat, let’s start the review of Ordnance, a science fiction book by Andrew Vaillencourt.
