Introduction to: The Classy Planner

It’s no surprise I love stationery if you don’t know this, where have you been! I’m always sharing my stationery favourites and today is no different. Now, you might just recognise this from Instagram because I have enjoyed sharing it over there, but today’s post is about The Classy Planner. I wasn’t seeking out a new planner for 2020, but I came across this one and I fell in love! As a stationery addict, I couldn’t say no.

I know, I know, before you say anything, yes I did purchase this in the Coronavirus pandemic but I still need a diary to understand what I’m doing! Also, this is more than just a planner, all will be revealed soon in this post. Now, before looking inside The Turquoise Classy Planner, I wanted to introduce you to Greta, the person behind The Classy Planner.

Must-See Movies of 2019

Around this time last year, I shared my Must-See Movies of 2018. I am such a film buff, I adore anything from family and action to fantasy and sci-fi. 2018 was a great year for movies, some of my favourites were Deadpool 2, Avengers: Infinity War and Venom, they really killed it with all the movies. Some failed at the box office whereas others were a massive hit, I’m looking at you Black Panther.

For 2019, I thought I would do the same and share with you my Must-See Movies of 2019 because let me tell you now, there are some big ones coming out this year! Also, I think 2019 will be the year I go back to my childhood, you’ll find out in a moment what I mean by that. There is definitely a long list of movies for 2019, I’ve had to control myself and limit this list to eight. If I went anymore, we would be here for weeks.

2019 Blogging Goals

Last month, I shared my 2019 Personal Goals, it’s now time for my 2019 Blogging Goals. A range of Goals that I would love to achieve of the course of 2019 with my blog and social media platforms. Each month, my Monthly Goals will reflect my overall Goals, recently I’ve been pushing myself on Instagram and Twitter just to reach these Goals. While incorporating them monthly to my Goals.

2018 was a good year for An Ocean Glimmer, I reached 15k all-time views, I was close to reaching 1k Instagram followers, was a couple of days out and reached it in January. I have found some amazing people in the blogging community and attended my first blogger event with The Body Shop. Onwards and upwards in 2019, it’s going to be a good year for An Ocean Glimmer.

Brighten your day with Leviko Designs

I adore supporting small businesses, throughout 2018 I supported just a couple, Fizzy Smelts, Geeky Melts and EllesDoodleBox to name a few. 2019 is going to be no different, I’m starting the year off right by supporting Leviko Designs, an independent store located in Edinburgh. Louise, the owner and designer of the jewellery, produces handmade bespoke quality pieces.

They can be tailor-made to your set specifications and are all presented in a beautiful gift box. Louise established Leviko Designs in 2016 following the birth of her first child. Looking for a creative outlet she was introduced to the Japanese Art of Kumihimo and quickly fell in love with the variety, versatility and relaxation which comes from it.

This Time Next Year Tag 2019

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I posted the This Time Next Year Tag 2018 on An Ocean Glimmer. What is the This Time Next Year Tag I hear you say? Well, it’s a tag created by Sarah Lemmon, aka Little Reader, it’s basically inspired by a British TV Show where you see people present their goals for next year. Then it flashes forward 365 days later to see if they have achieved them.

This is how the tag will work:

  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Write your goals for next year
  • Write how you’re going to achieve your goals
  • Tag at least 5 of your blogger friends to share their goals
  • Then if you wish in 365 days write a post for everyone to see if you have been successful or not!

What I Received for Christmas 2018

I’m really excited to share with you today, what I received for Christmas, now I don’t want this to be a ‘show off’ post. I want it to be a reflection of my Christmas and thankful for what I received. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was lovely, spending it with Yasmine’s family in Plymouth.

There was a good mixture of receiving money and gifts, I swear as you get older it’s harder for gifts. I really struggled last year, when I was creating my lists I wanted to include items that I needed rather than wanting just for the hell of it. With that in mind, I think this list is a good reflection of that.

Enough chit-chat, let’s get started:
