Shuffle Music Tag

I’ve got an interesting tag to share with you today, I recently came across the Shuffle Music Tag thanks to ZombieGoddess Beauty. Even though I wasn’t tagged by Cassie, I fell in love with the tag, so I wanted to do it for myself as it sounded pretty easy! I am a massive fan of music, most of the time you can find me listening to some form of music, be it Spotify or the radio.

If I say so myself, I am pretty addicted! So I just knew this tag was fitting for myself, I haven’t actually updated my Spotify Playlist in a little while, I prefer listening to their own playlists. Like their Top 50 and Hot Hits UK, I love how these playlists are always up to date and you know you’ll be listening to something new each time. Music is definitely a great thing to help me concentrate and relax.

Blogmas Day 20 // The Christmas “Would You Rather?” Tag

If you haven’t already noticed, I love tags, especially those that I’ve been tagged in by another blogger. I’ve really been struggling to plan and write content for Blogmas 2017, I hope you are all enjoying my posts and I can not believe there are only four more days left. Today’s post wasn’t actually planned until a couple of days ago after I was tagged by the lovely Hannah from What Hannah Wrote in the Christmas “Would You Rather?” Tag.

Check out her post here to see how she answered her questions. Shall we get started?

Blogmas Day 5 // Christmas Tag

Welcome to Blogmas Day 5, I hope you are all enjoying Blogmas on An Ocean Glimmer so far, can you believe it is only 20 days until Christmas! Where on earth is the time going!? For today’s Blogmas post, I am answering questions from the lovely BloggersTribe as they have created a Christmas tag. I love answering questions from tags, they always get me thinking, so a Christmas tag is just perfect!

I would like to thank Katie from BloggersTribe for letting me know about this tag after struggling to find a new Christmas related tag for Blogmas 2017, as I didn’t want to use the same one as last year. She reached out to me, after asking my followers on Twitter as a Google search came up with nothing. Also another shout out to Bexa from Hello Bexa who created the feature image above! How beautiful is it!?

Enough chit-chat, let’s get started with the Christmas tag created by BloggersTribe!

The Unique Blogger Award

Today is very special, nearly a month ago I found out that the lovely Lucy from Sparkle of Lucy tagged me in The Unique Blogger Award, how very exciting! I’ve only recently started following Lucy but I have fallen in love with her blog, she started Sparkle of Lucy just over a year ago now. I can not believe I haven’t come across her blog sooner to be honest.

I adore reading her blog there’s always something different and exciting to read. I am very proud of everything she has achieved, especially hitting 200 followers on WordPress only two weeks after hitting 100! I would love for you to go share some love to her, not only on her blog but also her Twitter, where she is really close to hitting 2.5k followers.

Goodbye Plymouth

I’m sorry things haven’t been perfect on An Ocean Glimmer at the moment, I’ve just been a little preoccupied with moving to a different part of the United Kingdom. Some of you may know that I used to live in Plymouth, a city in the South West of England. I have lived here my whole life, I have ever only known one house, so it’s been a pretty big thing to move five hours.

As I was receiving offers for interviews around the London/Reading area, I thought it would be good to live with my Uncle in Aylesbury. This does mean though I won’t be living with my parents, sisters and the puppy dog, who I will miss dearly. This all means more differences in my life, something I’m needing to get used to. But it’s all a part of growing up, I’m really excited by this especially to experience it with the partner

I feel like I’ve finally settled in and things are looking bright for myself and Peter, who also moved from Plymouth to live with myself in Aylesbury. Which means a new chapter in our lives together, something that I’m hoping will go well. Seeing as I lived in Plymouth for 21 years, I thought I would sum up some of the things I would miss.

The Liebster Award

It’s always amazing when you’re tagged in an award, earlier this year you might remember that I was nominated for The Liebster Award by the lovely Steph from Juniper Daze as well as Zara from Its All Zara. Well, at the end of June I found out that Charlotte from DBBloggerxoxo nominated me for The Liebster Award… I know, again!! I am massively thankful to Charlotte for nominating me, it means the world to me, especially as recently I’ve started to fall in love with her writing and blog! I really do aspire to her blog, as it’s gorgeous, especially her photographs, they are perfect and you should be very proud Charlotte!
