Goodbye March! Hello April!
I hope you’ve had a lovely start to April. As it’s the beginning of a new month, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the Goals I set myself at the beginning of March. Then create new Goals for April, which is going to be an odd month! I love setting new Goals, they get you excited for the upcoming month.
If you want to see what I got up to in March, I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // March 2020 here. It’s great to review and reflect each month, sometimes you even forget what you’ve done. March was a OK month, the world is a strange one at the moment. I don’t think any of us know if we’re coming or going.
Before I set myself some new Goals for April, let’s reflect on my March Goals!
Goodbye March! Hello April!
March has been such an odd month… I’m not sure about yours but for me, it’s just been everywhere. I’ve never experienced a month like it, I know you know what I’m talking about. You just need to keep moving and think happy things, that’s one reason why I’ve been able to keep up my blogging game. Before moving forward to April, now is a great time to review what I did in March with my Monthly Favourites. Although, not a lot happened! My Favourites is exactly that, what I loved in March.
It’s time to reflect on March.
Hello, there June!
Can you believe it’s already June? Where on earth is 2019 going!? I’m so excited for the upcoming month as it’s getting warmer, I adore the warm weather. It makes you want to get out of the house and go on adventures. It’s the beginning of June and I’ve already got something planned for each weekend. I’m going to be exhausted by the time July comes around.
Now is the perfect time to reflect on the previous month, I love doing this by sharing my Monthly Favourites with you! It’s time to reflect on what happened in May. It was a beautiful month, my trip home felt like forever away. As I’m writing this, I’m actually there again! On this occasion, its a quick break and we’re down due to personal reasons.

Goodbye April, Hello May!
I hope you’ve had a lovely start to May, is the month treating you well? As it’s the beginning of a new month, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the Goals I set myself at the beginning of April. Then create new Goals for May, I’m really excited about the upcoming month. I already have loads planned! May will surely be a great month with everything I have planned.
As I explained recently in my 2019 Personal Goals Update, creating new Goals each month helps you to stay on top of what you want to achieve for the year. If you want to see what I got up to in April, I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // April 2019 here. It’s great to review and reflect each month, sometimes you even forget what you’ve done.

Hello, there May!
I can not believe May is here, I am so excited for the upcoming month, especially with going home soon. Now is the perfect time to reflect on the previous month., I love doing this by sharing my Monthly Favourites with you! It’s time to reflect on what happened in April. It was actually quite a quiet month, even though it went past in a blur, but I’ve still got some good favourites to share with you today.

during the month.
Here we go, my first blog book tour in what seems like forever! I know I’ve been slacking on these, but recently there has been nothing I wanted to read. Until I came across R&R Book Tours, and the lovely Shannon, the brains behind this. I’ve already signed up for blog book tours over the next couple of month, keep your eyes peeled for those. I cannot wait to share my reviews with you.
I’m excited to be a part of this blog book tour, it’s crazy how much you miss something until it reappears back in your life. Today, I am reviewing Collection of the Negatives by Violet St. Karl, on the fifth and final day of the blog book tour hosted by R&R Book Tours. I am also sharing the blog book tour with Port Jerricho (Review), Eclectic Review (Review) and J Bronder Book Reviews (Review) , please give them some love!
Before we start my review and what I thought, let’s read the book bio for background context.
It’s great to have a Goal in mind, not just a daily or weekly one but yearly as well. I love creating Goals, I feel so inspired and it’s a great way to continue achieving. Back in January, I shared with you my 2019 Personal Goals, here I outlined exactly what I wanted to achieve over the course of the year. Now we’re nearly in May, it’s the perfect time to reflect on my Personal Goals and provide an update on progress.
I know I share my Monthly Goals but this doesn’t show the overall year story. When I’m setting my Monthly Goals, I try and keep my 2019 Goals in mind. It can be hard achieving your Goals, especially if it’s one you want to achieve in one year. Your Goals can be a lot easier to achieve if you think about them monthly. If you don’t create Monthly Goals, I would recommend starting now.

Positivity is such an important aspect of all our lives, sometimes negativity can’t be avoided. Last year, of course, had its ups and downs, when doesn’t our life do this? This year, I am determined to have a much more positive year. Where I can, embrace all things positive. There are some small changes that we can all make in our lives to feel more positive rather than negative.
Today, I thought I would share with you four ways to embrace positivity.
Netflix has been killing it recently! They have some amazing programmes and movies you should definitely watch. I pretty much watch something day in, day out on Netflix. I have been truly addicted to some, weekends are great as I pretty much watch a whole season in one sitting. Before you realise there are no more episodes and you’re waiting five months for the next season.
The last time I shared my Favourite Netflix Series was back in December 2017! A lot has happened and changed since then, now is a perfect time to share my Current Netflix Top Picks. I’m really excited to share these with you today, please let me know down in the comments if you’ve watched any of these yourself. They’re all pretty different from one another, I love the diversity of programmes.
Moving from Winter to Spring is probably the wrong time of year, it’s great watching Netflix during the colder months. It’s lovely sitting on the sofa, with a blanket, maybe even cuddling up with your loved one and watching a movie on Netflix, or even binge-watching one of their many series. Now it’s starting to warm up, I will be watching less so hopefully nothing much good and exciting comes out!
If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s I love stationery! Everything from notebooks and pens to planners and journals. Also, who could say no to pretty and cute stationery? I don’t show you my love enough here on An Ocean Glimmer, I’m going to try once in a while to create a stationery roundup, haul call it what you will. Maybe even once a month!
For today, I’m going to be sharing with you a small collection of stationery. Recently I entered a giveaway from Soffy | The Mum Affairs and I won! Of course, I couldn’t say no to entering a stationery giveaway, especially as there were some beautiful items. Before we get into what I received, I just wanted to thank Soffy for hosting the giveaway and the beautiful items.
