Self-Care in Spring

Now I know to most people believe we’ve had Spring for a couple of weeks. For me, I believe 20 March 2019 is the first day Spring. We’ve had an interesting start to March, with Storm Freya gracing us with her presence. We’re on Day 6 of the Astronomical Spring, I thought I would continue the theme of Self-Care and looking after yourself this Spring, by sharing a couple of Self-Care ideas.

Last week, I shared with you my face mask collection, a perfect addition to any pamper evening. Spring is the perfect time to reevaluate your routine and add in new products, also there’s something about Spring and the freshness of everything. Animals are being born, flowers are blooming and it’s the perfect time to think about yourself. Spring is a magical time of the year.

I adore Autumn! It’s definitely my favourite season, there are a couple of special moments to celebrate in this season, including the big one my birthday. I have seen a couple of Autumn Tag in the blogosphere and had to complete one myself! I love these as they’re a great way to learn a bit more about someone and they definitely get your brain working.

Normally I am tagged to complete one myself but for this particular one, I came across it on another blog. I fell in love with the questions and just had to participate myself. Autumn is definitely a season that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, there are so many reasons to love Autumn including autumnal fashion, cooler weather and chill nights in.

What’s in my backpack // Autumn Edition

I adore checking out what’s inside people’s bag, in my time as a blogger I have never shared what’s in my own bag. I thought with the new season I should share something new! I always take a bag with me whenever I go out, whether that’s a small clutch bag or a backpack. I’m always changing up my bag but thankfully recently I’ve stuck with a leather backpack. Brown is normally not my colour but I fell in love.

I have found that it still goes with most of my outfits. It’s quite a small backpack but it fits everything perfectly and really, I don’t take that much out with me. A lot of the things I have within my bag, don’t really change season to season if I’m honest. I always try to keep myself prepared for anything, I try and have the essentials with me as you never know when you’ll need them!

Here’s what’s in my bag for autumn time.

Monthly Goals // November 2018

I’m really happy for November to be here as there are so many great things planned, I’m not as busy as October but it’s still going to be a cracking month. It’s going to be excited over the coming weeks as there are a couple of things lined up. For starters, November is my birthday month, with a fun action packed weekend and I will be at Silverstone for a murder mystery.

I have been able to achieve most of my Goals I set at the beginning of October I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve. Here we are again to first reflect on my previous Goals and then set some new ones for November. I visited Castle Combe with my MG Rover family, picked a pumpkin for the first time and wandered around Milton Keynes.

‘Tis the Season of Boots

There’s a pair of boots for every occasion and as soon as Sunday 23 September arrived, there’s even more of a reason to wear boots instead of shoes. Autumn is definitely the season of boots, there is no doubt about it! There are no better shoes to wear during the colder weather than boots. They keep your feet lovely and warm, you can even wear fluffy socks with them.

What I love the most about boots is that there pretty much a pair for every outfit and occasion. I am pretty addicted to boots and as soon as the weather starts getting colder, I bring out my boots and start wearing them. One way to get Winter ready is to purchase some new boots, an online store where you can purchase all kinds of boots? Yes, please!
