My AlumierMD Skincare Journey

If you’ve been following An Ocean Glimmer for a little while, you might know that I’ve been on an interesting acne journey. I’ve tried a range of products but unfortunately, nothing seems to work. I see minor changes but nothing that clears up my skin. Now, I know acne doesn’t go away but if I can combat and reduce it, then I’m happy with that! I have truly tried most products on the market.

I know before you can go anywhere with your Doctors, you need to at least try most products. I feel like I’ve tried most of the main products on the market but I know some health or beauty clinics have acne products as well. Yasmine visits one near Aylesbury for her laser hair removal, while at her last appointment she noticed they have acne treatments and recommended I check them out.

What I Received for Christmas 2018

I’m really excited to share with you today, what I received for Christmas, now I don’t want this to be a ‘show off’ post. I want it to be a reflection of my Christmas and thankful for what I received. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was lovely, spending it with Yasmine’s family in Plymouth.

There was a good mixture of receiving money and gifts, I swear as you get older it’s harder for gifts. I really struggled last year, when I was creating my lists I wanted to include items that I needed rather than wanting just for the hell of it. With that in mind, I think this list is a good reflection of that.

Enough chit-chat, let’s get started:

12 Days of Blogmas #6 // Christmas Spirit

I hope December is treating you well. For today’s post I wanted to talk about Christmas Spirit, those two words mean a lot to different people, I wanted to share what they mean to me. I don’t get into the spirit until 1st December, this might be shocking to a few. How can someone choose when to get into the spirit? I hear you ask. I have always had this rule, the decorations do not appear until on or after 1st December.

With a birthday at the end of November, I like to have a bit of breathing space after celebrating and enjoying to then get excited for Christmas. I know some people who start a week before December, shops are even selling cards and decorations as early as October! I much prefer to have 24 days of extreme Christmas spirit than have nearly a month and a half of watered down Christmas spirit.
