Looking Back on 2019: My Year in Review

Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020!

Not only is it a New Year but it’s also a new decade! I hope you had a lovely start to January, it’s one of my favourite months of the year as it’s perfect for reviewing what happened and how you can improve. Also, it’s really quiet! I love this as I can wind down before the excitement of the Summer which is one of the fast pace times of the year. Also, I’m able to catch up on my blogging game!

Before we move forward to 2020, I thought it would be good to look back on 2019 and review my favourite moments. I know I shared my Monthly Favourites, well most months, so really it’s just one big summary of all those months. I would be here forever if I shared EVERYTHING. So I’ll only be sharing one or two special moments from the month. Some months this was hard as soo much happened!

Autumnal Box Swap with always believe in a miracle

I recently got in touch with Samantha from always believe in a miracle suggesting we do an Autumn Box Swap! I’ve seen these posts floating around the blogosphere for a little while now and wanted to share it with Samantha. We’ve been friends for just over a year, we met online and have even met in Birmingham! I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get started.

Samantha shares a wonderful range of posts from beauty, lifestyle and travel as well as her journey through remission after being diagnosed with stage 2B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. She also writes about relevant topics as a blogger such as What is DA & How to Improve it. The perfect way to keep up to date with Samantha is by following her on Twitter. I also adore every photo of hers! They are absolutely gorgeous so why not head over to Instagram and give her a follow.

Monthly Goals // November 2018

I’m really happy for November to be here as there are so many great things planned, I’m not as busy as October but it’s still going to be a cracking month. It’s going to be excited over the coming weeks as there are a couple of things lined up. For starters, November is my birthday month, with a fun action packed weekend and I will be at Silverstone for a murder mystery.

I have been able to achieve most of my Goals I set at the beginning of October I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve. Here we are again to first reflect on my previous Goals and then set some new ones for November. I visited Castle Combe with my MG Rover family, picked a pumpkin for the first time and wandered around Milton Keynes.

The Body Shop VIP Evening

If you read my Monthly Favourites // May 2018, you’ll know that I went to The Body Shop for their Blogger VIP Event. As an avid Body Shop fan, I was pretty excited when I received an email in my inbox with the words ‘VIP Blogger Event’ in the title. I attended the private event at my local Body Shop in Oxford City Centre at their Westgate store.

Even though I live 45minutes down the road, this is only the second time I’ve been to Oxford! I love the design The Body Shop are now taking with all their stores, making them a lot fresher and exciting. Pretty much-bringing nature and what the company is all into their store. I was really excited to attend this event as it would officially be my first Blogger Event!

February Favourites

I don’t know about you, but February has definitely not been as long as January felt, I know there’s only 28 days compared to the 31 for January but man, it lasted forever! Of course, with it now being March, it is time for my February Favourites. I’m really excited to share with you my favourites, this month has definitely been a lot more active than January was.

Missed my January Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.

Now I’m no longer struggling with money like I was in January, I was able to do a lot more, not everything that I would have liked to though. The weather is definitely brightening up and we’re getting more light in a day, meaning days are lasting longer. I can’t wait for it to start warming up, this means I’ll be able to spend more time outside, rather than being cooped up.

Shall we get started with my February Favourites?
